I have loved trying so many of the fabulous foundations that you have recommended, but Armani still remains my favorite 20 years later and it is by far, the best color match. I do love love love the Koh Gen Do moisture foundation too!

Hi Michelle it's very refreshing to see youtubers do pretty, subtle and for me day time appropriate makeup. I don't want to wear full coverage, blinding highlight, ten shades of eyeshadow, winged liner and long thick false lashes to go to work or shopping etc (I'm 49 with very dry skin). I have no objection to others doing so, but it's too much for me. I like a smoky eye for a night out (still a rock chick at heart lol), but definitely soft pretty makeup for daytime is more my style. Seeing how products look applied softly is of more use to me than the more instagram makeup so prevalent on youtube. I like the artistry of complex eye looks, but don't have time for that in the morning. This is a very wearable Spring appropriate look I really like and it looks great on you. Best wishes.

I love the look Michele, it is so beautiful. I also love the eye tints, that one in 10 is my favorite, I use it a lot. I also love the concealer that I bought a while ago because of your recommendation and is really good, does not crease at all. I have to try the luminous silk again, I received a sample years ago but never loved it, at least not at the time, maybe I have to give it another chance cause I am more into not that glowy foundations lately and prefer something more skin finished. Luminous Silk and all Armani cosmetics have been my main product for more than 13 years. I also have everything from the Neo Nude collection which I use in the Summer months for a lighter coverage. I have tried almost every luxury brand but, Armani products are still my all-time favorite. I also use the Luminous Silk Pressed Powder Foundation sets the foundation beautifully.

Hi Michele !That foundation is my daily go to. What I love about for It daily wear is that I can put on just the tiniest amount and it covers small imperfections and evens the tone of my skin, and like you said feels like nothing is on my skin! I have had the color face products in my cart at least 4 times but never pulled the trigger, I think I need to now! I am not a fan of matte lip products for me, but that color looks like it was made for you. Simply stunning! The eye colors are some of my favorites because you can add just a bit to look like you made an effort when really it was no work at all. Thanks again for a thoroughly appreciated review and demo! I have the coral blush and I know alot of people complain about the amount and applicator but I think it's great, I'll actually finish it and the way the top of bottle squeezes the excess means it won't splatter and you can start off building it. Everything about that line is gorgeous.

Went to sephora last night and they gave me supply for a few days to try. I love thr consistency because it's really light and although I have moderate rosacea, it has a good coverage and my skin looks natural.

Very pretty! I really like the Luminous Silk Foundation. My only problem is finding the right shade which always seem a little off on me. But I think there is a new shade (5.2) that I will order after we get through the heavy snow that is coming.

What makes shade 5 different from shade 4.5? Online, for some reason, says that 5 is light neutral and 4.5 is light to medium neutral, which is confusing because it should be backword. Not sure if you already tried both shades?

I love Armani Luminous Silk! Coverage is not too much, not too little, the finish is perfection (not dewy, not matte; silk really is an apt description), and it comes in one of the only truly neutral fair shades around (why are most lightest shade foundations only available with pink undertones?). I hope they never ever discontinue this formula or my shade (#2). FWIW, I know you were initially a fan of but then disenchanted with the Armani Power Fabric Concealer, but I’m still liking it. It’s the only under eye concealer I’ve used that doesn’t crease or make my under eye are look crepe-y or wrinkled. I tried a Luminous Silk Concealer sample but it didn’t cover dark circles as well. Maybe when stores are allowed to make samples again, I’ll try it again. cat_mom13

Luminous Silk Foundation Shade Help : If you are my shade what shade do you wear? I want to get this foundation but not go into a store to get matched. Sephora shade finder says most of my shade matches say shade 2 . However I do get this shade second most shade 1.5. Then shade 3 or 4. Foundation shades I have: MAC NC15 , CT Flawless Foundation shade 1 Neutral, CT light wonder foundation shade, Fenty foundation in shade 120. The Fenty shade was a perfect match and Mac NC 15 is pretty good as well out of the foundations I have.

is the a contour 20 the cool contour shade or 21? your description box says 21 and thats the warm contour? I am the same skintone as u and i cant decide which color. would 20 cool work better or 21?

20 is cooler but 21 is still fairly cool. 20 is almost a grayish brown.
