Hey Guys! Welcome to my channel!

I have been natural since December of 2012. I big chopped not transitioned. I recently did a mini chop on August 21, 2015.

Lol! Right. I notice the fuller someone's hair is, the nicer this hairstyle looks. but I wonder if I can use marley twist and do the feed in technique. I'm going to try it and most likely fail.

If someone noticed your armpit hair ( that wasn't there) they looking at the wrong dang things. My focus was glued to that gorgeous hair that makes me want to fastforward 2 years to get to your length. It looks like our texture is about the same but I have a loooong way to go as far as length. I had my cousin do my weave about 2 years ago and traumatized my scalp, natural hair texture etc. I had 3 golf ball sized bald spots with blood and puss leaking n had to b seen at the emergency room n get antibiotics for infection prevention. My hair literally dreaded n 2 days, well what was left of it. I was devastated. My hair is so pretty and wavy, when I took out the weave my texture was gritty, brittle and unrecognizable! I only kept it in for 2 days bus the pain was unbearable. But anyway.... I cut it all down to about 2 inches because it was ALL dead and traumatized. I couldn't wear my hair because of the bald spots and wore wigs for a long time. My texture is back, my bald spots grew in so good and I never thought they would because the dctr told me my hair was yanked out from the roots. Anyway... My hairs to the middle of my neck now and I can't wait to the day were in your length! sorryabout the long rant😔 Those memories just came flooding back😪

I love this hairstyle...I actually tried it this morning but it didn't turn out like I'd expected. My hair is too fine...l have too much space between my twist...:( But yours is beautiful!

Mini twist goals! Super cute. I used to wear mini twists when I was transitioning but looking back they probably looked horrible because I rushed through them. Gonna try again with fully natural hair and more patience.

We have the same name! I never really meet any other kayla' s. But, I don't know why I never really thought of just putting my natural hair in twists. My go to protective style are Marley twists too, but my hair gets very frizzy in them. I am trying to hold off on any hairstyles that require a lot of manipulation, an focusing on retaining length and the health of my hair. I am gonna try this style out for a few months(touch ups here and there and of course maintenance). Your twists are gorgeous and so luscious. My hair is very fine and thinner, sooo I'm praying this will work out for me!

I LOVE your hair! And I want to do this style on my daughter who is mixed. We love her hair natural, but she would LOVE to have twists. I'm praying I can get it to look good. I wish you could have gone just a little slower for this white mamma who has never done a twist in my life. You have gorgeous hair!

Mwinji Kapinga2001 I've seen girls here on KZfaq that did this style on short and medium hair and it was very pretty, just look up "mini twists on natural short hair" and you should find some examples, I hope this was helpful for you.

Carly Lynee because of the texture in our natural hair, your hair should swell a little as it dries in the twists giving you the illusion of thicker hair.

Ecostyler olive oil gel and cantu coconut curling cream doesn't mix well on my hair 😔

Simone Wood I know this is super late. But I use lotta body Moisturize me curl & style milk. Cantu curling cream doesn't work for me either.

it's not your hair, the Ecostyler doesn't mix well with a lot of cream, and leave in conditioners, idk but it creates like a white residue, that's why I usually just use the ecostyler gels with oil or grease

She did add coconut oil in between those two products. Everyone's hair is different hope you find what works best for you. Happy healthy hair ladies

My hair shrinks up a lot and comes out terrible when I twist or braid it so I started stretching my hair using the banding method before I twist my hair .
