First tried it few days ago in the evening and experienced complete relaxation but not sedation. I was laughing at some comedy show that usually I kind off laugh inside most days. I felt completely calm. This stuff works better than any pharmaceutical drug for anxiety or depression along things like ashwagandha. Helps immensely at night before bed about 50 mg or so. The trick is not to use to much and to often in a day unless small dose. Too much can leave you feeling dazed and not able to function optimally. I like it because it also controls my heart rate and does not get me have sudden surges of adrenalin hit and spike it due to excitement or stress.

Great video. Love your scientific approach. I have atypical depression, ADHD, and PTSD. I have been drinking chamomile for a decade and while I like it, I think lemon balm works so much better. I tried it once in a CBD drink that also contained lemon balm that I bought at a store. I think that the lemon balm does most of the calming and mood lifting for me. I take CBD oil and it never makes me feel like that by itself. And I take multiple prescriptions for anxiety and ADHD. Thanks to lemon balm and chamomile I don't have to take my anxiety meds nearly as much, only a few times a week.

@@Ohkeh640 it's good for a lot of things like brain and heart health, our bodies need healthy fats. I've read online that it can help with mental illness especially ADHD. Ones that have EHA, DHA, and GLA (omega 6) are best. Just look up omega brands online because there's a lot and some aren't very high quality. Depends on where you live and what's available. I like Nordic Naturals for fish oil but there's also vegan/vegetarian options too made from flax. I don't take it all the time because it's expensive but I try to take it at least for a few months out of the year. Try eating more foods with omegas because that's the best way to get them.

@@wmd40 My research has led me to believe Omega 3 and Omega 7 are the best to consume. Our body uses Omega 6, but the ratio of Omega 3 should be double that of Omega 6. I just recently found out about Omega 7 from Primal Labs. I'm taking their DuOmega 3&7 product. It contains oils from these fish: Anchovy, Herring, Jack, Mackerel, Menhaden, Smelt, and Salmon. I'm taking it for brain (and body) health. This product is also an alternative to statin drugs. Until you decide if you you want to buy this essential fatty acid product, consider buying and eating these fish 4-5 times a week. I'm having my first cup of Lemon Balm tea right now. It smells and tastes delicious! I'm drinking this because Dr. Eric Berg told me it can help with insomnia. Whether it helps with that problem or not, I'm still going to drink it because I like it and I'll hope it calms high stress. Not trying to push anything. I suffer from anxiety as well. Tried LOTS. But… Last year was reading Bible and had a thought (message?) saying anxiety attacks are spiritual attack warnings. You’re surrounded by enemies. Read a section of Bible trying to calm myself after breathing and other exercises didn’t work. It said roughly if you believe in Christ you can call upon Him to send legions of angels to battle these spirits. If the spirits are to much for his angels, specifically call on Christ to battle. Not sure of what I was reading. Wish I could find it. Anywho, I pray that. It works FOR ME. Maybe it will for you. If not keep searching. Anxiety sucks.

Sorry for getting back so late. Even thought it is 1500mg the study was on extract. So theoretically you will not get all 1500 mg in your body. Some will leach into the water and you will drink that. Great video. I want to use either tee spring or spreadshop for my KZfaq store. Why did you mind sharing with my why you chose spreadsheet over tee spring?

I wish I remembered why I went with spreadshirt. I really don’t remember. I looked into both and, at the time, spreadshirt seemed like the way to go for me. But I have no idea why. This is the most unhelpful reply I have give :( sorry.

How many cups of tea would you need a day to really feel it ? Can you eat the leaves?
@pr3ciousara2 жыл бұрын
My SIL eats the leaves. I don't know how many you'd need to eat to get the benefits, but she just eats it bc she likes the taste.

I've just bought some lemon balm herbs today. But I'm not sure how many leaves to use. Also, do I put the leaves into hot water or cold water?

Use them in boiling water to make tea. I put a handful in the tea pot but chop it up first. Let it brew got 5 minutes

Definitely remove gluten (wheat, oats, barley, rye) from your diet. The wheat GMO changes are harming a lot of people. Use a food journal and test to see if gluten is the culprit.

I would realty like to hear about your gut problem.I have anxiety and I believe it is coming from my gut.It would give me anxiety when I would eat something and I always felt my gut aching when I would get anxiety. It has progressively gotten worse. Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated

I have the same problem. Go and see a gut healing specialist. It’ll be money well spent. Things like full fat Greek yogurt, papaya, lemon water, buy a good probiotic etc.

I know for certain my anger and anxiety come from my gut. I too can feel pain and/or pressure down there, followed by waves of the negative feelings. A few years ago, I was having sanity-destroying anxiety that went on for five months of hell. I figured out that the bananas I was eating every day were causing it. I have SIBO, and I think the bacteria were doing something with those bananas that drastically increased my usual anxiety to nearly unbearable levels. I stopped eating the bananas, and away went the terrible anxiety.

@@emkay4960 I went through severe gut issues and intestinal pain and crippling anxiety. It’s not just bacteria causing these things, it’s intestinal parasites. I found out I was loaded with worms in my intestines causing these symptoms like yours and started taking every anti parasitic herb to kill them and the dead worms started coming out in pieces and my anxiety improved and I no longer have gut pain like I used too. I can even drink milk again now that the parasites are mostly gone, and I was lactose intolerant prior to my parasite cleanse. Bad bacteria harms the gut too, like lyme disease bacteria is everywhere and I have that too in my gut, but the worms are what really destroy the gut and brain health. Kill your parasites. Black walnut hull extract is very anti parasitic. Good luck.
