This is the second in a series of three videos about natural stream restoration. These videos are hosted by Dr. Jason Vogel, P.E., stormwater specialist in the department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Oklahoma State University. The first video is about healthy streams and what makes them work and what makes them healthy. The second video is about things that can make the stream unhealthy, what can degrade the banks and destroy the habitat. And the final video is about tools and methods that we can utilize to restore the stability of the stream bank while returning the habitat to the stream.

I live in Edmond, and new home construction is affecting many of the older homes that have been here longer than six years bc they refuse to put a detention pond, and the city doesn’t require them to do so but encourages them if they want to. Do you guys work with residential clients??

So, this is posted by a university extension service. They aren’t actually the contractors that can put in a retention pond or anything, nor are they any kind off lawyer that can litigate and force them to do anything. Their primary function is educational outreach. They typically have an office in every county, so there is probably one near by if you look them up. I’m not sure just how much they will be able to help you though cause they are primarily educators.
