Amen to what you said about being honest. My last relationship was the worse any man can have.. I lost my wife too cancer. I never even thought about being in a relationship again. But one night i stopped by popeyes chicken to get my 3 chicken strips like i do before i go to my gigs. Over time i got close too a young lady that worked there it was right before xmas. She had 2 little boys that i adored. I dont think i ever really dated before. I met my late wife when i was still in jr high. So i did not see the warning signs.. I lived in nice house, drove Audi R8, or my corvette, or one of my Harleys.i really didnt realize i was atracting the worst people. i should have drove my old beat up old ford truck i keep in the barn would save me 5 years of misery.. And she lived in the worst part of the hood in jackson ms. it back and forth with new orleans as the most dangerous city in the u.s.. I been around the block a few times.I been in hundrads os night clubs and slezy bars all over the world playing seen it all. But i let my gaurd down believed everything she told me..i think because she was cute as fuk anyway that first xmas i went all out spent thousands of dollars on her kids and her sisters kids hell the whole street. And loved it the dam money is just sitting in the bank doing nobody anygood. I took the whole streets kids to the movis because not one of them ever been to a movie i think it was about 20 or so kids and teenagers..But to get to the point her and and her kids ended up moving in with me.. She had no idea how to be in a real relationship. I told her too stop working at that terrible low wage job. but she insisted that she keep working. Even though i was giving her 3 times more money every week than she made.. Latter i found out why..."babys daddy was in jail" she taking the money and giving it to him in jail. But to go back too your point she did not have too lie to me so much about everything thats when i realized she was a pathological liar bordering on sociopath.. Hell i would have got him a lawyer to get him out. untill i found out about him. the worst human being i even seen he was like 4ft 11 about the nastyest humen being i ever seen. He was rude sneaky. or shifty. i always had my 50 calliber on me when i was around him.He though he was a playboy or Money Mike he treated her like crap didnt care about the kids. he even stole there xmas presents and sold them to give too his other babys mama. he even stole the cadillac escalade i bought her. and it caught on fire some how. i sorta like that a little bit of karma. At this point i felt like i was on a lower class ghetto version of jerry springer. i bought her another cadillac escalade reanted them a house for 6 month's. Got the hell out of that mess.. we lived together over 5 years. I loved her 2 boys. and still do. i still help the boys out quietly dont want to start her sh1t back up. there birthdays are just a week apart they wanted the next iphone so how can i say no..i broke up with her right before covid started. after i found out she was 6 months pregnant. and not by me. there is way more to this story..I could write a best selling novel just about the first year. like her busting all the windows out of my audi r8 sports car.. very expensive to replace. her and her friends tried to get into my royalties bank account. but im not a complete fool. she lucky i did not have her arrested. I don't know why i tried with her i wasnt desperate for a women. I dont think im ugly. i have hot girls half my age hit on me after every show. But they not my type. Guess im just going to be alone the rest of my life. Sure miss my beautiful wife.😪

It's really unfortunate that so many people in life just wanna play games with another person's heart and emotions without the realization that it's gonna come back someday and bring even more hurt than was originally caused. I've been alone for a while now and sometimes I feel like I'm paying for the pain that I may have caused but I have asked for the forgiveness and I have learned many new lessons about life and love as well.
