Girl people want the whole package. They want thickness, length, volume, etc. they want your hair because it’s beautiful. Its the “standard” for many honestly. What people need to understand is the beauty of natural hair comes in all levels of those attributes and people need to accept and believe it’s beautiful. People set themselves up for failure sometimes trying to have hair like influencers whether they want to admit it or not. I really wish there was a way to reach those people (including myself I’m still learning😅) and show them their kinks are gorgeous and that if they focused on them and not someone else’s hair journey yearning to have hair that’s not theirs...they’d be so much happier. They’d have self love ❤️ and that is so precious.

Hi, I never really comment on videos, I just usually watch them. But i want to thank you. I’m considered pretty young right now and i’m still learning about my hair. My mom and my siblings all have type 3 hair, while my hair is somewhere in the type 4 category. So growing up she just never knew how to do my hair. i’m talking about combing it while it was dry, applying heat. my hair always stayed at shoulder length. Then, i discovered your channel, and used all the tips you’ve put out there. I always thought because of genetics that my hair can’t grow. but now my hair reaches the bottom of my armpits. Thank you so much for all the help you’re able to give out here. can’t wait to see where my natural hair journey takes me.

Congratulations on 200,000 Jaelen!! You definitely deserve it!! What I always found frustrating about my hair is that even when it was waist length ( I recently cut it due to breakage) it never was big and full like yours. 😢
