D-12's incident report: "On October 14, 2023, I was patrolling U.S. Highway 79 in the area of State Highway 17 north when I received a call from Monroe County Deputy Jason Bradshaw #9703. He stated that he was in pursuit of a vehicle on U.S. Highway 49 south of U.S. Highway 79. Deputy Bradshaw advised me that the vehicle was heading north on U.S. Highway 49 towards U.S. Highway 79. I proceeded to the area of U.S. Highway 49 and 79 junction to assist in the pursuit. The pursuit continued north on U.S. Highway 49 crossing U.S. Highway 79 approximately before I could arrive at the intersection. I proceeded north on U.S. Highway 49 to catch up to the pursuit. I caught up to the pursuing deputy as he approached U.S. Highway 70 north at the intersection of U.S. Highway 49 and U.S. Highway 70. The suspect's vehicle had already turned north onto U.S. Highway 70 and entered Brinkley's city limits. The Brinkley Police Department took the primary unit position and pursued the suspect through the city of Brinkley until the suspect entered Interstate 40 westbound at the 216-mile marker. I located the suspect on Interstate 40 westbound and took over as the primary unit near the 215-mile marker. I kept the suspect's vehicle in sight traveling at triple-digit speeds. The suspect was driving in a reckless manner passing vehicles on both the right and left shoulders of the interstate. The suspect came very close to losing control of his vehicle and crashing. The traffic was moderate during the pursuit. The vehicle approached the 203-mile marker and was slowed by traffic. A Drug Task Force officer was waiting ahead on the shoulder of the interstate and proceeded to stop the vehicle. The suspect observed the officer and began to stop on the north shoulder. Officer Middleton with the Drug Task Force backed his patrol unit down the shoulder of the interstate blocking the suspect from entering back into the lane of traffic. Officer Middleton and I performed a felony takedown of the suspect and a female passenger of the vehicle. I advised the suspect of his rights and he refused to answer any questions. The passenger identified as Sanya Speed of Helena, Arkansas stated that she feared for her life and pleaded with the suspect to pull over, but he refused to do so. The suspect was taken to the Monroe County Detention Center where he was charged and booked into jail. The passenger was not charged and was released with Harvey's Wrecker Service which was called to tow the vehicle. The suspect, Damontai Jackson of Jacksonville, AR, was charged with the below listed charges. 5-54-125(d)(2) 2023 Fleeing - Vehicle or Conveyance 27-14-701 Driving Vehicle with No Registration 27-16-303 Driving on Suspended License 27-50-302(a)(7) Speeding - More than 15 MPH Over Limit 27-50-308(b)(2)(A) Reckless Driving - 2nd within 3 Years 27-22-104 3RD No Liability Insurance 27-32-101 Unsafe Vehicle - Defective Equipment 27-37-702 No Seatbelt"

2:25 The white car that got pulled over first after the trooper turned around was about to have a crazy day depending on the traffic violations but got saved by the Nissan Altima driver fleeing. You know that white car drove super carefully the rest of the way home obeying every single traffic rule after that close encounter. 😂
