Hair-raising GoPro footage shows how an adventurous nature vlogger squeezed down a narrow crevasse in Hawaii to rescue a trapped puppy.
This footage was recorded by avid outdoorsman Kawika Singson, who told Storyful he came to the aid of Misty, a 9-month-old pup, after her owner reached out to him on social media.
Singson said he made a “100-mile drive” to a remote region on the east of the island of Hawaii, where the dog had been trapped in a volcanic fissure for several hours.
The footage shows the vlogger wedging himself down into the cave, before making his way to the dog.
After locating Misty, Singson is seen attaching a harness to her so she can be hoisted back up to the surface with him.
“Misty is back home with her family and doing well,” he added.
Singson regularly shares footage showing his adventures around Hawaii.
