How long does it take for the plant to grow roots and it’s okay to cut and replant?

Use this same method for Azaleas.. My mom used to just lay something over the low branch to hold it down. I like the idea of using landscape spikes

I have one of these and after adding some different landscaping around it I wanted it moved about 8" or so to the left. I have been pruning it to make it appear as though it was moved but it's taking awhile so I wondered if I could do something like this with it. Glad to see I can. Just did this with 4 stems and instead of cutting them once they root I will just let them stay where they are. Hopefully it gives me the desired effect. I'm going to try the same with a red quince only I will do it on both sides to just make it wider overall.

Can I ask, how tall and wide do they grow? Also, is full sun best or afternoon shade?

I have A Roses that root just like that, the branches were hanging on the ground, now I have two different plants and a third near the Original plant, didn't do anything just roots on its own

@@verawallace9055 Hi Vera, how long did it take to form roots?
@verawallace9055 Жыл бұрын
@@mmckgpio I really don't know, I just discovered the branches rooted in one day ,but I guess in the Spring time would be ideal for starting the process, so by end of the summer you should have roots on them
