"STATIC: Dawn of the Meta-Breed" (Live Action, Fan Film)
SYNOPSIS:
As a result of accidental exposure to an experimental mutagen in an event known as the Big Bang, Virgil Hawkins has gained the ability to control and manipulate electromagnetism. He uses these powers as Dakota City's hero: STATIC SHOCK!
When Static and Gear face off against the power-pulsing Boom, they also uncover a darker plan in the works. A most sinister villain is revealed.

I caught him on YJ! That series sooooo good! I'd love for us to tackle THAT live action. Thats like a whole new level of budgeting right there though. but i never give up hope heheh

Very entertaining and a great segway from Batman Beyond The Series Season 1 to Season 2. The kickstart to what will be a mind boggling batch of episodes. Can't wait for the continuation! Why are Boom's strikes so powerful !? 😆... P.S. Love the back and forth between Static & Gear. Great pairing.

Yo, this was FANTASTIC! Worth the wait *thumbs up* It feels like eps one for a S5 of the old cartoon. I wish it was, I'd watch the crap out of it! Virgil's not as funny, and he and Sharon aren't at each others throats (so to speak) as in the cartoon or the comic, but Richie is on point! I'm a huge Static fan, so I'm fairly tough on Virgil and Richie's characterization. That said, I'd give Virgil a 3.7 (you got 2/3 main points - his compassion for people and his interactions with Richie, the humors the only thing I can see that's missing) and Richie a 4.5 (you got his main points while moving the characters development forward slightly - great job!) I can't wait to see more from you and your version of Static and his cast of characters! P.S. Three Q's (if you don't mind; you don't have to answer, of course): 1. Where you able to premiere this at LA Comic Con? If so, how did the premiere go? 2. I made a poster for this a few months back (I got excited) but didn't post it cuz I didn't have permission. Would it be cool w/you if I posted it to help with promotion? 3. Was the LexCorp logo in the mid-credit scene a prop or was that super imposed in post? Either way, it looks great!
