Naval plebes participate in annual Herndon Monument climb

22 күн бұрынALL THE WAY UP: First year students at the U.S. Naval Academy participated in the annual tradition of climbing the Herndon Monument in Maryland to mark the end of year one.
The class must work together to scramble up the 21-foot greased monument and replace a white plebe hat at the top with an upper classman's hat.
This year's climb took 2 hours, 19 minutes and 11 seconds.

With Much much much wider bases using dozens more humans. Just a thought, also without being sprayed with water constantly. Both are pretty cool in their own rights. Just an opinion.

They didn't even do it right The hat he knocks off is setting on a knob. The one he replaces it with IS NOT in the traditionally designated place.
