@Raja Katadi, When Parashara learnt astrology from Vasistha and Vasistha learnt from someone else, which means Parashara haven’t invented it, then why Vedic astrology is of Parashara. Vedic is from Veda’s, Parashara is from Puranic times then how is astrology of Parashara or any other Puranic Rishi be it Bhrigu or anyone else. It is the Agama, science told by Shiva to Parvati and then modified by sages like Parashara and Bhrigu and made better with experience and researches by Acharya’s like Varahamihira and Kalyan Verma. First let get the chronology right before we debate. Is Nadi old or Vedic Jyotish old. Nadi means to search, search is only done for things already invented. Making a new thing, or system or branch of knowledge is invention, neither search (Nadi), no research (re-search, to search again which is lost).
