Naveen Richard is one of India’s most versatile comedians, webseries writer and actor. Richard is known for his sci-fi themed web series, Star Boyz, mockumentary web series, Better Life Foundation (BLF), Pushpavalli (2017) and Die Trying (2018). He has also toured the country for his first solo special, Don’t Make that Face.
Growing up in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Richard’s friends compared him to Mr Bean, Jim Carrey and Steve Carell.
He is well known for his accurate impressions of a cab drivers, South Indian uncles and landlord ladies. He has cracked up millions with his take on wifi passwords and predictive texts.
From being a finalist on Comedy Central’s Indian Comedy Festival 2012, Richard has performed over 400 stand-up shows, and headlined comedy events such as Stage42, Bangalore Comedy Festival and Chennai’s Fringe Comedy Festival.
Most recently, Richard has been applauded for his work as a judge on Amazon Prime’s Special, Comicstaan, which is India’s first ever comic talent hunt.
