Navene is beyond a doubt, a beast, at everything he touches. His lead guitar work though, is severely underrated. Always a perfect balance of melody & shred, in the pocket seasoning 👌

All I know is that when I watched this for the first time (I was wearing BEATS headphones) I was so zoned in on the vibe that I literally said “WOOO” at 2:57 right when Nav said it. Haha. I had to go back just to be sure he said it as well haha because it sounded like it was just me reacting echoed.

It took me 17 years to realize you were in Animosity. I got to know your name through AAL. There was/is a live video of CAFO where the small solo at the end was just so damn good, had that section on repeat. Today I went back once again to the legendary "the black page" video and "you can't win" (live session in the park) and ppl in the comments are talking about "Navene"... I was like, that can't be him right... but ofc it is you. I am in awe (always have been, but DAMN).

I fell in love with Navene's playing on Weightless (Animals As Leaders), and now this is amazing to watch. His double bass, timing, velocity precision, and emotion in his playing are outstanding! I am going to listen to Entheos!

The end breakdown of this song is Meshuggah worthy. Gotta say, it fucking hit me like a truck. Always been my favorite drummer growing up Navene \m/
