3 жыл бұрынBefore I moved out went, I used to take my Toyota Land Cruiser all over the Midwest for some off-roading overland trips. It was almost always trees and mud which, don't get be wrong, is a lot of fun. But I'm looking forward to experiencing new terrain, and for my first trip out west, I'm heading to the desert near Joshua Tree to experience something completely new.

Man used to live in San Bernardino and missed being an hour away from snowboarding, the beach, and Joshua Tree.

Brings back memories. I was stationed in San Diego from 90-94. Spent a lot of time camping in the Mojave and Joshua tree. Back in Kentucky now. Miss the desert 🏜

Kurt, have a couple questions on the move: 1. What is the fleet update (I assume you had to sell some cars before moving at CA)? 2. Are you FT KZfaq now, or are you still working remotely for your day job? Just curious as I’ve been subscribed since you bought the 997 CS.

Hey man. Yep I downsized when moving out here. Just the GT4 and Land Cruiser left now. I still work my day job full-time, not in a position to do this full time yet but eventually that's the goal.

I just got a set and I must admit, they are a little rough on the streets, can feel the unsprung weight and the increased rolling resistance. But man they do perform off road. They are my first set of mud terrains and not gonna lie, I still wonder if I should have gone with the all terrains. Give and take I guess.

@@kw3674 depends on what you do mostly. I switched to BFG KO2s and never looked back as they are decent in mud and man are they quiet

@@elbayawak Thanks for the suggestion. In my mind I’m in the mud all day, but in reality... lots of pavement, mud when I can find the time 😅. Biggest issue is the rolling resistance I feel with the stt pro. Do you think the KO2s will give you less of that? Also, did you end up selling your MTs to get the KO2s?

@@kw3674 definitely less rolling resistance mate since the KO2s weigh way less than the STT Pros. Yes i sold them to get the KO2s. Never had a problem with the KO2s so far. All pros for me
