man I'm obsessing over how this setting must work like, everyone says that you're a good navigator. so maybe when you're re-arranging map pieces it's just a non-diegetic way to represent being able to find your way around the world. but then you get to the writing chalet. and the books that write themselves full of true information is already cool as hell. but on the second visit, the library owner complains about not being able to find certain floors in ages, and you can literally re-arrange them back into existence. so are you literally re-arranging the world after all? what does the building do when no one with the map superpower is around? where are the floors actually going to and coming from? do other people have different ways to will the topology to re-arrange and just think it's good navigation, or are they dependent on the world to be in the right shapes for them? we can't willingly walk out of bounds, but we can be taken out of bounds and other characters can move around it fine - is the out of bounds just the way we view the world, a representation of our caution and ignorance of the wider world, sticking only to the map that we trust and understand, and no one else actually sees it?

lovin this playthrough! Im guessing the reason the turn the map piece to open the chest puzzle didnt work was because you had already turned the map and restarted it in the same map session but it wanted it to be a fresh one? not sure but thats my guess
