» This discussion will provide insight into the historical context of global power dynamics, tracing their evolution from ancient empires like Persia to the current superpower status of the USA. It will explore the shifts from multi-polarity to bipolarity, and eventually to unipolarity with the rise of the USA in the 20th century. The session will discuss these changes through the lens of International Relations theories, examining the implications of a unipolar world order. Additionally, it will highlight how the morality of great powers endures, inspiring present and future generations and leaving a lasting legacy in history.
● About the speaker:
» Rashid Ali is an Assistant Professor of History at Islamabad Model College for Boys. He is also a visiting faculty member at several prestigious institutions, including Bahria University, MAJU (now CUST), and the Department of History at Quaid-i-Azam University. As a curriculum expert, Rashid has contributed to the National Curriculum Council, helping to develop curricula for History, General Knowledge, Social Studies and Pakistan Studies. Additionally, he has served on the Federal Public Service Commission Interview Panel and has been a subject specialist and interview panelist for Political Science, Pakistan Studies, International Relations and History.

You can see the lack of thirst for knowledge in Pakistan by just 10-15 people present in the hall! 🇮🇳

Please do not focus on quantity, atleast Pakistani universities are making efforts to make people aware of such knowledge sharing, unfortunately there is no such efforts being maked by indian universities. We are just focusing on STEM and rigorously ignore social science studies.

The author has not covered " incoherence of pholosophers " written by Ghazali. He quotes ibn Sina...who says that there is no birth or death for this universe and thus no creater , preserver or destroyer. Ghazali says " thoughts like theese are close to blasephemy". So to think that Ibn Sina beleived in Islamic thought is going in a wrong direction.

There is no part that covers Ibn e sina or ghazali. This discussion covers oswald spangular's decline of west. Clash of Civilization and remaking of new world order, Francis fukuyama' end of history, hennery kissinger's diplomacy and nothing less than victory of john lewis.

This is dilema with third world countries, people barely enjoy intelectual discusions and rather like things good for nothing. In India owing to large number of population, intellectual bent of mind may find greater in number but overall ration will be similar.
