One of the difficulties for Americans is the belief that because of our scientific background that we are objective. We can understand how the Chinese with the Buddhist or communist background might be influenced but we cannot see our own because of our presumption. Asking an American to hold himself in check he would presume he already is. As a convert from protestantism to Orthodoxy 37 years ago I can say I am still in the process of changing my mindset.

As we continue toward the end times we will see a greater falling away and that we may have to be a resistance movement in the Church to preserve our Orthodoxy. How this unfolds is known to God alone.

The Christianity of the Intellect is now enough to become a Priest. This intellectual agreement with the teachings of Christ, is what allows them to live Contrary to the teachings of Jesus. Indeed they know all the words and numbers, but the Spirit behind these things illudes them, thus you can find them with grand titles, and living in palaces and mansions, and whilst their lips still drip from the feast, they shall teach the things of Jesus, though their hearts are a million miles away from Him. You have come full circle. Laws, Rules, Traditions, Rituals, fancy dress and Grand titles, Truly, there will be Weeping and Gnashing of Teeth. You do to Our Lord, as the Jews did to Our Father. And when you pass from here in the Great Tribulation to come, you shall appear in your finery in the image you most loved about yourselves, in the Mirror, and Jesus will stand before you in Ragged Cloak and Worn Sandals and ask you, what have you to do with Me?

@@backinmyrightmind Those who have ability to contain Scripture, without the ability to translate it into a Spiritual Life. If a persons own ways are described in Scripture, Only the Holy Spirit can reveal to them, that it is they which Scripture might be describing. Thus we must remain alert, and remember in who's kingdom we actually abide in here. But here is a gift for you. The Cause of Our Enemy being described as a Serpent is this. The Serpent is the only Creature able to stun its prey, Unlock its Jaws, and Swallow Whole and Still Living, that which is Larger than itself, Also, All that enters its Stomach becomes one with it, for it does Not make Toilet.
