Hello Liza, thank you for sharing and going into details of your story. I just became aware of sudden hearing loss. and no one fully understood what caused it, my hearing loss was gradual but my right ear was very sudden. I even had vertigo when it happen. My left ear was more gradual and the doctors have no clue what caused it. I was told I may need a cochlear implant on my left ear as well. I know what you mean when your world became smaller. I felt depressed, alone, angry, and frustrated. It also get so brain drained for reading people's lips. It can really take a lot out of you. I think that is one of the biggest reasons I stay to myself. Great video and a great topic.
