Starting a new stage of the special project "Ukraine in Songs", I dedicated the first composition to Danylo Didik. The 15-year-old patriot and public activist was the victim of a terrorist attack during the March of Unity in Kharkiv in February 2015.
- I am honored to support Ruslan Horovy's project "This is How Memory Works"! This is an artistic, musical, inter-author project, which he started in 2019 and is dedicated to memory of Danylo Didik and all those who gave their lives for the independence of Ukraine. Learn more: bit.ly/3ivMBxX

The authorship of the Ukrainian folk song "Winds Are Blowing, Storming They Blow" is attributed to the semi-legendary singer from Poltava Marusya Churai. In the past authorship was also attributed to Ivan Kotlyarevsky. This work is included in the Ukrainian school curriculum. But the last arrangement of the song was done by M. Lysenko.
The singer #NAVKA took on the task of reviving old, and sometimes forgotten, folk songs, giving them a modern interesting sound and launched her own special project "Ukraine in Songs"

Ukrainian #folk # Song "Winds are blowing, violent winds are blowing" lyrics:
Winds are blowing
storming they blow
the oak tree there bending
Oh, how my heart aches
And tears do not flow
I spend summers in terrible grief
And I do not see the end
Only then does it become easier
When I secretly cry
Tears will not help to overcome grief
but it will be easier for the Heart
Who was happy for at least an hour
he will never forget it
Tears will not help to overcome grief
but it will be easier for the Heart
Who was happy for at least an hour
he will never forget it
there are people
who envy my fate
who envy my fate
Is the lonely plant growing in the field happy?
Is the lonely plant growing in the field happy?
on the field, on the sand
but with no dew and under the Sun
It's hard to live without a sweetheart
even in my native place
Tears will not help to overcome grief
but it will be easier for the Heart
Who was happy for at least an hour
he will never forget it
Where are you my sweetheart, black-bearded
Where are you? Respond!
how I, poor girl, grieve here
come and see
I would fly to you
but I have no wings
I want you to see how I without you
I am drying up with grief
Who will I lean to?
And who will dove me?
When there is no one
who loves me
Tears will not help to overcome grief
but it will be easier for the Heart
Who was happy for at least an hour
he will never forget it
Where are you my sweetheart, black-bearded
Where are you? Respond!
how I, poor girl, grieve here
come and see
