For the first time ever, two boxers up for the chance to win the title of four-time Brigade Boxing Champ will fight … each other. The two team co-captains, fighting in the same weight class for the first time, also happen to be roommates. Midshipman 1st Class (senior) Aidan McNally and Midshipman 1st Class Adrain Johnson will battle each other in the ring tomorrow for the rare title.

So if you box in navy is that your job or do you still have to have a rate

You don’t have a rate as midshipman. You’re full time college student and have your military duty requirements. Boxing is a club sport at Annapolis. All kids have to take combative including boxing.
