@@Killacam1992 he’s been a great dad. Wasn’t around much when i was younger due to war and other jobs. We built vehicles for the military when he finished his tours. No his only plans are “to build a boat and sail the pacific diving wrecks where it’s warm”.

@@patrickbateman9314 yea one of my close friends dad was and actually is still a career SEAL. My buddy is 30 and I think his dad became a SEAL when he was really young so I believe he’s been in over 25 years. He’s now one of the commanders in DEVGRU and anyways my buddy would tell me the same thing he wasn’t around much as a kid but he didn’t really know what his dad was doing so he always thought his dad was going on “trips” half the year every year. They lived in Virginia Beach where DEVGRU is at and when the dads were deployed the families all live close to each other and they would all take care of each other and shit. Funny enough is all the kids he grew up with ended up following their dads footsteps and became SEALs but he was a artsy/music type of guy and got his masters in guitar. He’s like a chill hippy type dude who shreds at guitar but polar opposite of how all the other kids turned out. I’m rambling now but there may be a chance your dad knows my buddies dad. Ask him if the last name Perry rings a bell.

Hi, I’m a 21 year old woman and I’m training to become a US Navy SEAL. How should a woman prepare for BUD/S? How are women treated in BUD/S? Do you have any advice for preparation? I’m a civilian and I want to go enlisted. According to what some BUD/S dropouts told me, one female SEAL candidate broke her legs in Basic Orientation (BO) which is the first two weeks of BUD/S, another female SEAL candidate broke her legs in BUD/S Prep and a third female SEAL candidate got rolled back in BO for stress fractures. None of them made it. According to the SEALSWCC Scout Team, most female SEAL candidates have issues with load bearing and just don’t have enough durability. Women have weaker bones and tendons than men, studies have shown that women develop stress fractures 3x more often than men. Do you have any advice for becoming more durable?

Oh no. I think I could handle the physical part but the mental part would have me ringing that bell. I get asked this time to time and think about my friend who was booted from BUDs. The instructors played a sinister mind game...one of which convinced me never to consider this insane profession. I'd rather not tell his story. Another buddy of mine (dropped also) said they sometimes can't get a pulse on you so they stick a thermometer up your ass to get a temperature. I'm not sure I could endure the stuff you don't usually hear about or see in the KZfaq videos. 🤙

Not really. The middle is more likely to be attacked lol but, from what I've read/ heard, it is pretty rare to have a shark attack.

That is the only thing I have against the Seals....way too vocal....what these guys do doesn't need to well known to EVERYONE.....

Yeah there's a lot of differing opinions on the book deals. It's interesting. We have to see it from their angle though. If you lost your friends in battle, wouldn't you want to preserve their memories somehow? Wouldn't you want everyone to understand the sacrifices they made? I used to be against it...now I'm for it.
