You’ve probably heard of the Navy SEALs-but if you’re not one of them, you’ll never fully know what they do. These elite Special Operators are a team of highly-trained, highly-lethal individuals that embark on the Navy’s most classified missions. From targeted ground operations, to embedding in enemy territory, to anti-piracy and anti-terrorism strikes-as one of these warriors, you’ll do it all. It takes immense mental and physical stamina to make it into their ranks. Find out if you have what it takes at bit.ly/2Xyrfbu

The seal program is great for the navy, when someone joins, they either get a SEAL or a highly motivated paint chipper.

Hi, I’m a 22 year old woman and I’m training to become a U.S. Navy SEAL. I’m a civilian and I want to go enlisted. What advice would you give for women that want to be SEALs? If you had to go to BUD/S again, how would you prepare differently? What books or workout programs would you recommend? How does the SEAL community feel about women joining them? Do you think women should be allowed to become Navy SEALs? Most female SEAL candidates struggle with carrying the boats and logs, doing pull ups, having grip strength and completing the “Dirty Name” on the obstacle course. Also, a lot of female SEAL candidates break their legs or develop stress fractures. Women have smaller and thinner bones than men.

I was really excited to talk about the deal program with my recruiter because it was something I’ve always wanted to do since sophomore year. I’ve study hard and workout because I wanted to be prepared. But sometimes fate just snatches it because they did a color blind test and turns out I was partially color blind which means I couldn’t join. Ever since I get that news about my condition I was just sad because it’s something I’ve always looked up too because I wanted to reach higher. Till this day I still haven’t lost that warrior spirit in me but sucks that something like that can just crush your dream.

One of the dumbest things I've ever done was become an officer. Enlisted is the way to go -- way more fun. Sure, you don't make as much money. But, you can make it up later. And you don't have to deal with nearly as much b.s. as officers do. I'm not a Navy SEAL - but I have worked with them.

Always been a dream of mine to be in either a spec ops unit or special forces, don’t get me wrong Green Berets, 75 Ranger Regiment, MARSOC Raiders, are all badasses but there’s just something about the Navy Seals that make them seem more elite. Maybe it’s because of their speciality in underwater ops and their selection process having the highest wash out rate.
@nunyabiz7021
@nunyabiz7021 5 жыл бұрын
What about Delta, PJ's or CCT's? I've read about all of them having high, if not higher than SEAL washout rates and you do realize that other spec ops unit's are trained for maritime ops also, right? And on a personal note, I remember the phrase "silent professional" used to mean something, but too many current or former SEALS have traded their personal honor and integrity for a little fame and/or fortune, to a higher degree than others in spec ops.

The long survivor is unique situation because the team was committed to the risk even when they knew well that may not come back alive of course we know well the reason of what had occured & I will not go through now it in great details but the fact that even one survived & turn back alive this in my opinion is great success because hope gives a man strength & is this strength that makes a man a true fighter now to the point of course all are humans but after so many attacks of such an extent of circumstances then of course the unfavorable moment for them come then to face the consequences the Taliban had thrown in the battle a half army nevertheless no matter how hard it was for them they put up a good fight to the end they gave a very good account & they took down many of them .

When you fire a rifle, you hear the mechanical sound of the weapon operating , the sound of the hot gases leaving the barrel, and the sound of the bullet breaking the sound barrier.
