Would highly recommend doing Naxx, it's a lot of fun and not overly complicated, at least in WOTLK .

I had never played WoW in my life. I never knew "where to start" or like I had missed out too much on the lore and was left behind. Over quarantine I started playing classic (I personally found it more fun and rewarding than retail, but I want to play retail eventually for the story elements) and slowly learning lore. Your videos have made awesome and hilarious "tldr" recaps of the lore for me and I have been binging them a lot! So yeah, thanks for putting so much effort into these because it definitely has made the game feel more accessible to me.

i did play it and from time to time i got that itch to replay it. for me i love the memeroy's i have with tbc/woltk. i do say if you have more then 4-5 hours a week free time go for it!. it is fun game with cool lore. but if you want a taste and dont know if you like it try a private server it quenched my thirst. but i have chosen not to play it i am to long out of the rotation again stopped during or at the end of woltk. and my preference in games changed, more tactical shooters or grand stratagy. so before you start with wow question youreself. do you have the time. do think you gonna play this long term(like for a solid year maby two) if you do with race/class you wanna play. what is new and what is comming ingame (do research about current game stuff.) and do want to lose youre life XD

@@user-do1kg1py1d I've been playing classic for almost a year and a half now and it has been a really great experience. I went with a class similar to what I played in GW2 and didn't think much into choosing race at the time. I gave retail a try but really didn't like it in comparison.

That very end of the video made look back and reflect on everything that has happened. From the "You think you do, but you don't", Nostalrius, the shutdown, the petition, the announcement of classic, the launch of classic and all the crazy memories along the way. It has been a long, crazy and fun journey, but it has definitely been worth it.

You missed one thing on Thaddius, when you switch sides you have to walk by the boss clockwise (or counter) of the boss to avoid touching everyone switching which is not a big deal on WotLK but is on Vanilla.

Its actually the same on WoTLK and it doesnt matter in either because it takes some time for the debuff to activate (enough time to move through the boss and into the other group).

Holyyy shiiit. Just imagine back in the day like 2005-2006 Everyone even getting a single raid group and talk to them. lucky if everyone has a mic and even if had mics they would sound like shit. The ping would probably be like over 100 fps under 30 for sure. Insane lag spikes. Some not even having right gear. Someone's family calls player for dinner. Insane ragefest. Everyone wondering about the bosses abilities. Oh those were the days ^^

Big true, while watching the Faerlina fight description I was just thinking how crazy it must've been to not really have a guide and figuring out the only way to stop your tank from dying was to MC one of those adds. Whichever one in the guild that came up with that idea must be labeled a god. Imagine figuring out all the other fights too dude!

Super interesting watching this. I never played Naxx as a raid, but ran it heaps solo as a much higher level for fun. But I never really got to know the mechanics because obviously by that time I could just walk over everything. Cool to see all this stuff and learn how it was meant to be played.

This is honestly my favorite series. Just curious, though, why not do a Dungeon Dive for other places like Blackrock Depths and the Molten Core? I know you've done lore talks and stuff about them, but why not do a full dive into it? This is more just out of curiosity than anything else since you said this will be your last dive.

These videos take a lot of effort and since people have already ran BRD the information in the video won't be useful to them. If I am putting this effort into making these video I want them to reach as wide of an audience as possible, an audience of people who have never done the raid before. I'll probably make these for TBC instead.

@@PlatinumWoW I never set foot in a current raid, I find these videos very interesting because there is no other way to see the bosses mechanics for me. You don't really see what the bosses do when you go in at level 100 and one shot everything.

@@PlatinumWoW I never set foot in a current raid, I find these videos very interesting because there is no other way to see the bosses mechanics for me. You don't really see what the bosses do when you go in at level 100 and one shot everything. Im sure there are more casual wow players that would gladly watch dungeon dives videos about the other classic raids, or even 5 man dungeons.
