I am not a Reality TV fan, especially the once that are produced in Europe and the US. What they have in common is a deterirozation of human culture and values! It is a glorification of being bitchy, cut throat, dubious, malicious, villainous etc etc etc. Nayika Nayakan on the other hand is an amazing heartwarming pleasant feel-good Show! The lovely chirpy vivacious charming and amusing Pearly is an noncompromising delight to watch! DD is a cool and sweet soul, the perfect match and ever so exciting compliment to Pearly. Well done DD - you have come a long way since the first episode. Pearly is truly the jungle music of the Show. The Contestants are a bundle of talents. They have presented some exceptional performances that needs to be applauded and showered with accolades. Some where there is scope for improvement, in spite of the fact that they have given their 100%. Cest la vie! The heartbeat of the Show is of course the gracious queen Samvrutha with the enchanting smile of a "Malayali manga" and of course the "Honey" charm Chakochan. Awesome mentors - encouraging, nurturing, caring yet exhorting and motivating!!! The genuinity in their feeling for the wellness of the contestants and of course the Program comes straight through to the viewers. I think Lal-Jose has become more and more himself on the show as the episodes progressed. His trasition from the first episode as a Ravana Prabhu or Gordon Ramsey or Simon Cowell prototype to himself, fills my heart with not just awe and admiration for the genius he is, but also with loads of affection for the beautiful human he is. You truly are the King of the Show!!! Thank you! I feel it is necessary to point out that Samvritha, Chackochan and Lal-Jose being very successfull Film Professionals and geniuses in their own rights, do not have the need for Cult building or self-glorification. This truly shows their maturity and professionalism. What a relief to see that the Contestants do not have to kiss the floor and fall at the feet of the Mentors, after every performance and after every appraisal. This gives the Contestants the perfect start without having to kiss the bottom and maintain their self. The Mentors treating the Contestants as friends and equals and still receiving the respect and awe they deserve, is the perfect portayal of a modern and progressive Kerala. With the heart rooted thouroughly in tradition, respect and dignity and an aspiring soul leaping to the future - that is how I see the Show. I have been following all the Episodes of Nayika Nayakan on youtube. Thank you for presenting a great Show and has truly become a Jewwel amongst all Reality Shows.
