Definitely. This album was ahead on time when it came out. It really sounded like that through all these decades. A lot of people got this record because of the ballad "love hurts" and got shocked with the rest of the tracks. It should be one of the 5o rock albums of all times.

This is the first riff I ever played the first time I picked up a guitar in 1976 at age 7. My dad heard me playing it and freaked out! Immediately took me to a music store and bought me a stratocaster.

My first experience hearing metal,which is what i call it.Pretty heavy for the 70's.I was 8 or 10 maybe.My sisters boy friend and me and her going to taco bell in Austin Texas.He had a chevelle and an 8track in it.Different times for sure.It was hair of the dog,and i had never heard anything like it.

It's a perfect hard rock song. The "Hair of the Dog" album is a masterpiece, beginning with "Hair of the Dog' and ending with "Please don't Judas Me".

I'm almost 65 iv listened to this since 1975 and I don't have a clue? I have studied Mannys production on the album. I do wish that I could hears Dan's vocals more prominent, to see if it sounds better? I love the dueling guitar's, but it's a bit of a studio illusion, since Manny is the only guitarist on the album. I am curious about what's very 'unique' ?
