I took a nazerite covenant with God before I never even knew that was what I did. It happened following a very deep inner healing from familial wounds. (a little background: I'm a spirit-filled Christian. Though I really prefer Believer, because Christian is used so loosely these days had hardly represents "Christ-like". I know I am a prophet of the Lord, and I flow in a variety of the gifts. I came into my call through God's teaching me about being an intercessor and burdenbearer. I carry a Seer anointing, and wear the mantle of Elijah. After going through this intense inner healing, the Lord presented me with a life choice. To go and pursue what my heart desired and He was bless it. I thought about it, talked to the Lord about it, considered going to college. Get a nursing degree, etc....then I reflected about my past walk with God. And I halted my ideas and I said to Him, "But...I have loved this life of intercession and burdenbearing. I love having your attention and close relationship with You, if it's all the same to You, I would like to stay right here with You." I then saw a picture of a piece of jewelry for my ear. So I got out my jewelry box, found a nice piece of chain, and I took some others apart and made an earring that matched the picture that I saw. And I made this piece of jewelry that I wore in my right ear. And when I finished this, I felt led to never cut my hair (other than a healthy trim), never to drink any alcohol, and dedicated my life to Christ to remain single for as long as I felt it so. The next couple days, I came across the scripture about the Year of Jubilee. Where the Hebrews were to release their slaves and servants in their household, give them money or land to start a new life without servitude. And if they came back to their masters, and wanted to remain with them, they were to pierce their right ear with an awl into the doorpost of their home. Put a gold ring in their right ear lobe and no longer call them servant, but to adopt them as if they were one of their very own children. They were then treated as their child. Then I came across the scripture, which is very little, but is found in the story of Samson. His life was of a Nazerite covenant. Two-fold in my covenant with God, I had a wound regarding my hair. So the not cutting of my hair required me to take care of it. My hair was full, very fine, and extremely curly, which I despised. The Lord told me He would heal me through this walk with Him, regarding my hair. As my hair grew longer, I had to keep it clean, never used heat on it, and had to deal with the unruly curls. By that time my hair was past my shoulders, and had finally resolved to just wash and air dry, picked it out and let the curls "be". Until one Sunday getting ready for church, doing my hair, I looked in the mirror and for the first time I said to myself, "I love my hair!". I repeated it again and again, and began to cry when I finally said, "I love you!" in the mirror......healing.......through my hair. I had despised myself and the things about me that God, Himself, spoke into being when He knit me together in my mother's womb. And my life as a Nazerite began. No big deal, no flashy guess who or what I am.....I loved being anonymous and still do. Its nothing for others to know about me, except a chosen few. All I want is to have God and walk with Him anytime day or night. To have his intimate attention. To have all heaven stop, when they hear my words of prayer. Prayer for anything and everything that God lays upon my heart. To carry people to the Lord in prayer like a burdenbearer, and take hold of the horns of the altar and not let go until His answer comes. I'm not lonely, I have Jesus in my heart and soul. I don't care to have a mate, unless God brought him to me and said, "This is the man I want you to marry." Then my covenant would be fulfilled. Until then, I don't cut my hair (though there have been times when the Lord directed me so for a purpose), I don't drink alcohol, and I don't date or desire a mate. God has satisfied all those longings that come with every man and woman He made. Does it make me powerful? I don't....feel 'powerful' (smile), but I do feel closely connected with God...intimately connected...and will til the day I die.

Cherie McNaul you are powerful, and that power is through sharing your humility. It is about being who you are regardless and don’t flash it, but don’t hide when people ask why the look. My usual response is “what look” then I get your hair, your beard. And I usually say “this isn’t a look; it’s what I look like. The truth to being a righteous one is blissful. We choose wether we stay anonymous or famous. And in our own regards if we followed through we could be famous; but we choose to be humble. Keep on being awesome and I love how like many who put their heart into the vow, realizing it or not, that ends up being the result; dogma and names, titles ideas of religion become below your deeply. Because the connection to the most high is deeper than anything else to the core. You need to visit someone very much like you, yeshua said out of 1000 I may choose 1 out of 20,000 2. This message is not for many, but those seeking on deeply understanding the ways of the true trinity of the family, this message is killer, look up Jacob Israel he’s a KZfaqr. Hope to see you sometime in the comments!

The point of the statement “shall no razor touch his head” is for several purposes. Firstly what is the first response of a person when they see a person with wildly kept, locked up hair(also as the Bible suggests is righteous)? Most see them and think either, crazy, homeless, dirty, etc. and that point is separation. So you shall not separate from what is god given(the hair) even though you will be separate in the minds of men. The lesson is to become humble to the varying realities of men and women. They will look at you differently and you must humble through. It’s the lesson of the image and judgments of others. It also suggests who is and is not actually righteous. Those whom do not make themselves judges of others are worth your time, others are in varying degrees of self absorption. The other lesson is the fact it’s you antenna, your spiritual connection to the earth and the atmosphere. To animals and the spirits of what’s near you. It’s your natural way to acknowledge the world around you, just like the whisker of a cat. The hair and isolation makes you more receptive to god. And it teaches you to value what being human is, not get caught up in society, dogma and others values. A true Nazarite is connected to god deeply, no religion can separate the personal connection. It’s a choice, hence the vow. I am Nazarite.

@Empress SugarCane a little piece of knowledge on your narrow path. This Nazaritic idea does not come from Abrahamic faith. This is why it is told the path equates to a closer relationship with the most high. It’s a hard pill for those raised in Abrahamic faith to swallow but it will be made necessary by the most high if you haven’t already experienced it. The idea does however come from the same land Abrahamic faith was inspired to be born. Some literature you need to read is the true origin story of the Nazarite. It’s doesn’t come out and say it, but it’s displayed from the beginning, and then honored in the end. If your serious about being Nazarite it’s a story you have to know. The epic of a Gilgamesh (This story, it’s the oldest written story of all human history) When you know this, you will find the first Nazarite and his proper image. Your also going to need to understand this story is almost 3x older than the Oldest biblical manuscript. That Nazarite Enkidu(pronounced In-Kee-ha-doo) like us was human. So don’t be bewildered by description as it’s meant to express fame, not physical characteristics. Also his origin is on par with the first human, Adam, Oranuous/Uranus, Anu. Which for us who seek knowledge and connection up high, gives us clarity on what is a “Adam” or “eve”. The emblems of the perfected human. This story, even though titled “epic of Gilgamesh” isn’t about the king he is actually the secondary character. It is about the falling away of the perfected human, and the response from the counsel of ancestors in the sky who bicker into the ear of darkness that is the most high. Overall it’s a great story just to know. It’s shows us the jacob-israel, jacob Esau dynamics, the flood of Noah and the blessing of Abrahamic faith to Noah being a curse in this story, the first historical mention of zombies!, and an epic fight between an unarmed king and various other men over petty wants, that dealt blows to the ancestors. The irony is this man “Gilgamesh” in reality was a real king named “nümrod” or nimrod from the Bible, and the story itself is the Tower of Babel. The title “Gilgamesh” is derived from two words from ancient Mesopotamia “Gilga” means “great valley” and “-mesh” which denotes ownership by the god/goddess Shamesh of Mesopotamia, the sun god. So “King Gilgamesh” means “the king of the valley of the sun”, the “shining valley” or “Sumer”-“to shine” is that kingdom. This story outlines how the king of Canaan, the first Nazarite enkidu, befriended and attempted to humble the king nimrod of Sumeria. The story talks about a lot of magical things, but outside of the dreams and their true meanings these words describe true real humans. As seen in various depictions mistaken as Gilgamesh, which portray enkidu holding the tail of “the bull Of heaven” which is how this bull is slaughtered in the story. When looking at the carvings we see enkidu holding the tail of the bull. The irony, the bull is just a man wearing golden armor with a golden tail. Meaning this “bull of heaven” was a warrior for a kingdom, not a magical bull. The same can be known for the demon “hibbabba” the demon who prowls the cedar forest. This also is depicting a people not a entity. Ones who loved among the woods in the north, in cedar forests and worshiped trees, often called Celts. Or pre-Viking northern tribes. Who used gorilla warfare to hide amongst the forest, as the forest and deceive people. This story is about Gilgamesh crushing other nations all the while a Nazarite tries to humble him, eventually leading to his death. During mourning is where this is important for you to pay attention and see for yourself. Look up depictions of the annunaki, the giants/fallen angels from antiquity. What you will see is Nazarites. This idea is older than the first religion so be proud to be walking this path and don’t get lost in the various artful religions of mankind they only seek to separate you from the most high. Be good empress!

When learning about Middle Eastern culture within the Bible, one must study the original context linguistically & historically. Otherwise, you have no reference point. 😬 A good place to start is to read Kenneth E. Bailey’s book, “Jesus through Middle Eastern Eyes.”

@@mercimimentor88 What I mean is...Did Samuel, John the Baptist, or Samson need more than what God gave them? I’m not discounting your culture at all. But God doesn’t need those things. If or when he speaks to someone directly, or influences them in some other way to do His will, I think that overrules anything else.
