I talked to kirbs for 4hrs on Sunday he hasn’t changed at all we just laughed about the old days he’s memory is fantastic we had 2 guys in group with full back tattoos aged 12/13 Andrew & Germ lol imagine the looks we’d get in the city little kids stoned drinking piss covered in Tatts the 80s were the best lol

To come out the other side of the life he lived as the man he portrays today is truly remarkable. Proof to anyone, anywhere who thinks that they’re hard done by and life owes them a favour, and that their problem forces the life they live, can change if they want to. It takes a better man to step up and decide enough is enough and want to change their life. And few people have lived the kaos that Kirbs has, seriously. Full respect from me Kirbs. I wish you all the best in your journey ahead, you should be proud of yourself for turning your kaos into education when nobody can change the past. From a life where only the strong survive to now a role model shows what a person with a goal or desire can achieve. Good luck.

Andrew has the courage and survival instinct of a lion he was homeless and broken when I met him he’s younger than the 4 of us in group and he’d been bullied by everyone he already had a full back Tattoo at 13/14 we all have older brothers and learnt to fight so we protected Kirby we gained respect including Cooper Andrews closest mate bashed 14 skinheads and drew with Dane in 1 day aged 17 we lost Andrew to the System after a incident at Flinders St Station when he was 17 probably 65kg sent to the worst division in any Australian jail he had to join Danes group or Die he built himself into a true hard man feared by most when he doesn’t have a violent personality he’s always had a big heart and now he’s reforming himself and dealing openly with his Abuse so his journey is even crazier than we can imagine!

I loved in particular that self-audit after being sentenced for the riot in Brissie. The dismantling of self for a complete rebuild. That is powerful stuff. For those that are trapped within that 'twilight zone' there is nothing like an honest self-audit to begin the process towards change. Melbourne in the mid to late '80's up until the mid '90's was when I was running amok too. They were crazy days. It seems like those days were many lifetimes ago....I thank God every day for breaking the shackles of my drug addiction. Great stuff guys.....

When your treated as an animal for most of your life whilst locked up, you will slowly become the animal but then you are released back into society expected to behave like last 10-20yrs in a cage does nothing to your mind.king Dave must help ex felons and steer them in the right direction and get the message to the youngsters and being hard or in a gang doesn’t really get you anywhere in life and as you get older you begin to realise the stuff you did is shameful and embarrassing and wish you never walked that path but it’s hard for a young man/woman to hear the advice.a real gangster takes care of his family, going to work and offering good advice to young kids to stay away from the peer pressure.
