The story of FIRDA EIR began with the arrival of the Skandi Foula 2 years ago, a Platform Supply Vessel which had served the offshore industry for many years, to our shipyard. Live Fish Carriers are more sophisticated vessels compared to Platform Supply Vessel and Firda Eir will be one of the most advanced. She is equipped with specialized equipment for fish health and water quality. This conversion project requires relatively more challenging planning and production processes compared to other conversion or new building projects. This was one of best sample project that shows flexible planning and production capability of Norse Shipyard!
