The reason you could not play the dunk competition was because you played the rising stars first (Which in 2k is a day after the dunk competition) so it simmed over the dunk competition..

It is because in the other 2k games these events happen the year before what the game is called.For example in 2k14 the all star game would be in 2013, so the next all star game would be in 2014
