When you say push down the right stick, do you mean I the downward direction, or press it down like a button? (also does this still work)

Xbox & PS4 controllers aren’t accurate enough for the new shot stick. At least not after they’re slightly used. It’s gonna be a problem as the year goes on.

I tried it at the park games, it’s inconsistent and harder. Practicing offline is a lot easier and I was able to make white release shots and green more.

What about using the LT or the RT button for aiming with the shot stick?

Hello sam, thanks for this guidance. I tried it on practice and it does work but why when I do this on pro am / park or rec it doesnt seem to work? I am inside yellow or even near the line but it doesn’t go in. I usually take my shots from corners, does that mean I will need corner specialist? And if I turn off shot aiming, will i not need to adjust the RS to center? I just go up and down wherever i am on the court? Thanks

Everytime I click up my player does a dribble move. Wont shoot unless I press down then up?

All I heard was “when the planets are aligned and you see the sun directly up high at noon, make sure you time it correctly and I implore you to press the following: R1, R2, L1, L2, left down right up, left down right up, X.” That’s how complicated video games are getting now and days just to shoot a basketball into the basket.

Do you start your shot by moving Rs up so when you flick it down you have less time to aim it which is better because it’s super sensitive or no

How are you adjusting the analog onto the line, I can barely see the line and it always moves to the far right and left and sam can you make a vid on how to adjust the moving yellow line, i was able to master the double flick, but when i try to slighly adjust into the green window it goes far right or left

I appreciate you doing this, but please do this in pro am/rec against good defenders and then show it works. I’m not a fan of this. During intense games, players do not have the time to worry about a “mini game” with the shot stick, when you’re trying to shoot before a defender collapse. The shooting is terrible in this game.

How about online gameplay with you using this technqiue?

I’m using a raised right analog stick for precision purposes so hopefully I’m even more op with this technique. I took it out of my elite controller when it broke and put it in the stock Microsoft controller.

Hey Sam! I have a 71 3ball and 76 mid. Do you think think your method would be better than using square button w/ shot meter for my build?

Another lil tip if you change your camera view to where wthe camera follow your player from behind and you use the stick for jumpers it helps with your timing so much takes a min to get use to but it 100% helps your jumpers

Instead of going up and down I just hold l2 and flick the stick down and I green

I went to practice cause i feel like i couldnt make a 3. I made 1/20.... the one was the only excellent i could make and for me to evolve player i have to make 50 3s. 3s are absolutely to hard. No reason u should go 1/20 on slighty early or slightly late releases.

Wow! Thank you for this. I also found that the 12 to 6 flick works when in the triple threat position. The only difference is that you have to keep holding the stick at 6 until the animation you triggered finishes.
