NBA 2K21 next-gen gameplay is here. Captured on PlayStation 5, this is the first true look at what gamers can expect on next-generation consoles this November. NBA 2K21 will be available on November 12 for PlayStation®5 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and November 19 for PlayStation 5 in all other regions.

This is 2K traditional marketing strategy..... they're secretly downgrading the graphics in each and very single one after a next-gen came out, in order to make you feel hyped and amazed again when a new next-gen is coming out again.

Absolutely extraordinary graphics. Revolutionary even. However, because of the lifelike quality it is imperative that they make the transition from DEFENSIVE STANCE to SPRINT smoother. It’s still jarring like last gen and sticks out like a sore thumb because everything else is so flawless.

I remember when they showed next-gen PS4 graphics and it was mind blowing. This just takes it a notch (or two) higher than that. Imagine what the visuals would be like PS8 - - possibly can't differentiate with real-life imagery anymore.

When I was a kid playing ZX Spectrum / Master System games, me and my dad used to always say, 'I wonder if one day games will look just like the real thing'. It was a nice thought experiment but never really believed it would happen. Today we arrive.

Best get use to these player models because this is what the series will look like throughout the entire life cycle of next gen just like they were on the PS4. We seen a huge jump in the beginning then stagnant from 2K15 to 2K20..
