I think you’re just used to playing live back in the day. I got used to it in 2k10 my player mode so since then i used 2k cam zoomed out and panned down slightly so i can see the corners

I just picked up this one yesterday and had to add it to my NBA collection i have NBA games for PSP PS1 PS2 PS3 PS4 and PS5 I'm a old-schooler and great collector i have this game and haven't played it yet. I've been so busy. Working one-day thanks for sharing this video with us 😃👍

The only big leap in graphics, gameplay and realism that NBA 2K had was NBA 2K9. The rest until today, are practically the same. They improve the graphics, cinematics, and some animations, but it still doesn't look real. Abrupt accelerations, strange jumps, collisions between players that look like those of GTA San Andreas of the Playstation 2... It's not worth spending the money on this kind of sports game.

Yea, it’s lacking fluidity. I tried posting up Jordan & doing his signature fadeaway in the post move. Looks really jacked up every time. Something is off with the mechanics.

when they released the most realistic teaser back then (the zion dunk) I was shocked and jumping like wtf they were not joking about how next gen the game is i thought they made the most realistic basketball ever yet we are here playing recycled game every damn year. still cartoonish, the running animation still sht.

I don’t really play a lot of Sports video games. But I must say, this looks incredibly realistic! Looks just like an actual basketball sports broadcast you would watch on TV. Video game graphics sure have come a long way!

Shooting looks really good, the passing and moving up the court is weird as fuck. Weird sliding going on. Look at when Murray dunks in the beginning and lands realistically, but then look at how he moves up and down the court. It is a weird mix of old animations and new AI

So sick of starting over with a “new” game and they don’t perfect or fix anything. The fan AI has never been fixed for example, big moments and situational moments never feel big or situational. That’s something so simple, but all they do is focus on how to jack you for more VC.

PS 5 does not have 4K at 60 fps. There are two modes: 2k 60 fps and 4k 30 fps.

@@danaskovici I actually bought 2k24 at a discount. Started a MyGM season with my fav team. Played a bunch of games, went back one day and it only showed a few games that I played, instead of the 15 or so I completed. Turns out I accidentally played like 10 games on a similar MyGM season in 2k23 and didn’t even realize I was playing the wrong game. Thats how close to being the same they are. Same thing with Madden.
