Then he said as he grew he fell in love with basketball and by the end of the interview he said he wanted to be around basketball his entire life so he'd rather coach than be a commentator. @@afeezekiel2885 MJs best 2 shooting years from 3 were 94/95 where he shot 50% and 42%. Ironically those were the 2 seasons the league moved the 3 point line in. Once they pushed it back he fell. Went from 37%,23%,18%,29%. He never had a respectable 3 point shot.

If you did he’d blow by you 100% of the time. The midrange and postgame was developed bc he saw more doubles on the catch. MJ wasn’t Kobe trying to master every skill (not saying Kobe did just speaking on their approach to the game) He mastered what was necessary to be unstoppable in his era. Your best player didn’t have to have an elite 3 to win and dominate.

@@deez9805 definitely not but he would add it to in there if people say he can’t. That was simply his competitive nature.. with that said its still smart to play closer to the basket than further. The mid range he had people at his mercy, you had to faithfully contest and worth about the blow by which is more dangerous from the mid than 3 because you’re closer to the basket.. and then we both know how great of a finisher he was in a era with true rim protectors, enforcers and no def 3. It would literally be a field day for him today with the opposite of that plus the 3 point spacing. And I know what you mean with Kobe and I feel a reason because of that is Kobe was athletic but not freakishly athletic like Jordan. His quick 1st step, leaping ability and hangtime was a combination we still haven’t seen to this day
