LeBron James, Paul George and Klay Thompson are among the players expected to agree to new deals in the coming hours and days, and there will be plenty of other moves to keep an eye on. Free agents can negotiate with any team starting at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, and we should see a deluge of deals shortly after free agency opens. James Harden became the first star to agree to a new contract on Sunday as he reportedly re-upped with the Clippers on a two-year, $70 million contract.

They were smart not to sign PG for more than two years. I bet they try to get Derozan or even Klay…..if after two years it doesn’t work Kawhi and Harden will be gone and you’ll have a ton of cap space in a new arena in LA.

@jasonroane2059 PG is an upgrade to Klay, imo. Warriors would be lucky to waive Klay and CP3, and replace them with George. Clippers need to first decide on an identity and culture outside of "island of washed and misfit vets". And I don't see that changing until after Harden and Kawhi are gone.

Spurs signed CP3. VW is so great that the Spurs will sign Klay Thompson to a one-year deal and contend for the title next year. VW wants to win his first title in Year 2 like Duncan did.
