Everything that Skip said turned out to be true. Nash injured his back, roster didn't fit together and Spurs were better and went to finals and lost in game 7 to Heat.

Kobe #2 in scoring , Nash #2 in assist, Bynum #3 In rebounding, Gasol # 7 in rebounding and World Peace can play defense. To me this is pretty tough to beat. They just need good Backup that's it.

I think it's actually part of the show for them to constantly disagree. That's the purpose of debates sometimes: where even though both people agree, one takes the opposite side and comes up with legitimate points to back up his side.

No matter how horrible your defense is, if you have the league's greatest centre and a defensive-minded coach, you're probably going to be top 5 in the league in defense. Mike Brown has a proven track record as a defensive coach. It's their offense that will earn them their championship and Steve Nash is going to be making many people on that team a very happy player.

He is/was a difference maker. He scored 5 more points, grabbed 3 more rebounds, and shot 10% better for a stat line of 9/5/1 shooting 61% they needed that so they didn't have to burn Duncan.

Skip hit this one on the head. The Lakers were a disaster and ended at the 7 seed, getting swept in the first round by San Antonio. OKC was the best team in the west and won 60 games and the 1 seed but got bounced out of the second round due to Westbrook’s injury. San Antonio went to the Finals and lost in a very close 7 games to Miami including of course the Ray Allen shot.

Kobe and Nash will click because Kobe's goal is not to score more points and break some records, he already has it and last season he has given it to Durant. His goal is to win a sixth ring, it doesn't matter if he was the leading scorer or not. He is a leader and thats enough.....

let's see here, the lakers won 5 rings with fisher playing mediocre defense (even at his prime; 2 in a very advance age) and nash just adds playmaking, passing, orchestrating, shooting and leadership to this team, i doubt that the defense will suffer since they just got howard which will erase the lakers' mistakes at the top.

I don't know why Skip is even on the show and I agree with Stephen A smith on Skip being uneducated in basketball. There are so many types of basketball offensive strategies and defense. Other than that, Stephen A Smith on OKC being better than Lakers but Lakers being contenders against Heats, yes, that is how the NBA is, different basketball styles work against different teams. Obviously there are favourites in match ups, but you cannot write off a team, even the Bobcats.

He's saying if Nash is NOT the center of the offense he's NOT going to be as productive as he was in Phoenix and LA would basically wasting his talents. Nash can't do anything if every time Kobe brings the ball up court he just pops a 3/long jumper or doesn't run offense.
