for me, the greatest players ever are jordan, kareem and lebron (maybe magic too). the reason is because this: these are probably the only three players in history who could win a scoring title and also win defensive player of the year in the same season. jordan already did it, not sure about kareem, but lebron could easily do it. i think when you look at overall talent, lebron is probably the greatest we have ever seen. i dont put him above jordan, but in terms of being able to PLAY BASKETBALL.... nobody can do that better than lebron james. he is basically a mould of magic, dr j and michael jordan... probably the three most iconic figures in nba history. michael jordan is the greatest basketballer who has and probably will ever live, but lebron is the most rounded player the game has ever seen, its that simple. hes arguably the greatest athlete in the history of sports, can shoot with the best (when hes on), a good rebounder, exceptional passer, unbelievable defender (1-5), now hes becoming a great closer... there is honestly not a single facet of his game that you can say is poor. thats why i put him on the level of michael, kareem and magic. i dont know, maybe hes not above any of them.... but you cant deny that he is probably the most talented ever

LeBron put up one of the dominant performances in NBA history throughout the entire playoffs. Hollinger of ESPN ranks it as one of the top 5 playoff runs of all-time, yet Skip still tried to give D-Wade and the role players the credit for beating OKC. Skip even credited himself by saying that LeBron won his ring b/c he finally listened to him.
