its really a shame. this team couldve been great if dwight and nash were healthy but it wasnt surprising that they werent considering howard was coming off of a back surgery and nash was close to retirement.

it wasnt that far fetched back then. they were the 8th seed the year before and were receiving bynum who looked like he could be the next top center in the nba. unfortunately bynum had injury issues and so basically the 76ers lost allstar andre iguodala for nothing.

Skip looks like a prophet here with the benefit of hindsight, he said the Dwight move wouldn’t work, he said patty mills was solid and that the Spurs were the team to beat. It’s bizarre that this is the same guy who said/says Johnny manziel, Tim tebow and baker mayfield will all be world beaters.

@@nizzam1 in case u didnt know. Kobe dominated the spurs 4-1 when they were in their prime in 2008 when the lakers didnt even have artest dwight or nash. Tim was 37yrs old and ginobli was 36 in 2013. They were a shell of themselves. 2008 spurs were better than 2013 spurs and they nearly beat heat in 6 had bosh and allen not come thru in the clutch.
