i live on the East Coast Ms Myrna and i am 67 years old. i enjoy sports. Steph Curry is all those things AND he gives His Lord praise for all he has done so far. When the Warriors were down after Klay's injury, i KNEW they would return because of their Culture and Character and Steph's Christ. Is God in basketball? Yes, when Steph believes and understands his purpose AND they (GSW organization) each endured and supported each other on and off the court: NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE. i thank them for demonstrating the impossible! Go Warriors, Go Steph, Go Klay, Go Dray, Go Iggy, Go Steve...Go...to everyone GO and show others how to create a CULTURE. Champions endure and Warriors win!

I can relate to a degree. Almost everyone around me has been a basketball fan to the point of me knowing important bits and pieces of basketball history during the 90s. I was never into sports but it bothered me that i couldn't join in a basketball conversation. I will say tho, since i was a kid i would always try to watch games but i couldn't get into it cause i didn't know how to pick a team. Eventually everyone was either team lebron or kobe, and i didn't wanna pick one just bc they were the popular ones. Then one day i saw videos of Steph on FB. It was 2014/15 season, and i just fell in love with the way he played. It was amazing to me to see this small skinny kid do the things he was doing. Besides the 3 pointers, i remember his ball handling and the way he would trip and fall on his way to the basked but he would make the shot, it was ridiculous. That was it, i had found my team. Then i started noticing Klay, and i was like THERES TWO OF THEEMMM!!?? LOL. Joining in basketball conversations was bitter/sweet, they won the chip that 2014/15 season, so i was constantly being called a bandwagon. But in fact i would've remained a fan even if they didn't win. People still call us bandwagons. Oh well, it sucks to be them.

What you are watchig when you watch the Warriors is an organization built for success from the top down, The management, the scouting, the trainers, the coaches and the players on the floor together symbolize and commitment to winning and respect for their fans that is almost absent these days in the money-hungry, purely capitalistic profiteering that goes into most teams in most sports. The NY Yankess have that mentality as does the LA Dodgers and now the Houston Astros and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Celtics and Yankees ALWAYS had that mentality but it seems that the Warriors have taken it to a new level. You can see it in how brilliantly they are coached, how brillliantly and unselfishly they play as a team and how they are dedicated to winning regardless of cost. And that is why they will be a dynasty and a force in the NBA for decades to come.

MJ done lost his mind, Steph is a hall of famer right now, I think Jordan is a hater. I never watched Basketball from opening game to season end before in my life and I'm 64. The Worriors are so entertaining I can't wait for the season to start. They play unselfish basketball and that's the kind of ball I love to watch. You must not have grown up during the MJ era. You would not make that statement about not wanting to watch if you had. The man could almost literally fly in the air or at least his movements looked like flying. It wasn't just dunking the ball as others can do that. It was was his set up to make the dunk and then the execution of the dunk. Jordon dunked on three and four people all the time.

Curry is an all-around man in life; husband, father, basketball player, community leader and the world changer! Isn't it funny people hate discipline and gentleness? Stop comparing him and let his work speak for itself. Each player is responsible for what they bring to NBA; their unique skill, heart and mannerisms. i appreciate Curry and his entire family (mom&dad, etc.). The game of basketball is more exciting! And he continually encourages all to follow your dreams and stay true to who you are! Every title or trophy he has acquired represents his work and love for the game and for life! I watch NBA since 90'. I saw MJ and his Bulls (and Phil). I saw Shaq and Kobe and their Lakers. I saw Tim-Manu-Parker (and Popovich). And I saw Steph and his GSW. And among all these great teams, I like GSW the most. And after GSW, Bulls and Spurs at same level. GSW is what in football (really football, not American football, jaja) is called "Football total". This means that all can attack, all can defend, and they change roles in different moments of a game. Steph sometimes plays as a Point Guard (Base), he bring the ball, he looks who is free to make an assit. But other times he plays as a Shooting Guard (escolta). Draymond or Poole or some1 else carry the ball and Steph run to be free to recieve the ball. Or he stay in a corner to open the defense. Or sometimes he just put a screen. He is not in the same role all the time. Most of the team plays that way. Greatness.

Respectfully, you are 100% wrong. Lew Alcindor completely changed basketball forever. He was so dominant in his sophomore season at UCLA (1966-67) that the NCAA banned dunk shots for 10 years. Additionally, USC famously stalled against UCLA in a game to prevent Alcindor for getting the ball. As a result, the NCAA created the "shot clock" which eliminated teams from stalling. Lew Alcinodor was so good as a freshman that his influence made the NBA change their thinking about allowing underclassmen to declare for the NBA draft - which is commonplace today.

On the East Coast and 67 yrs old..When the Warriors were down after Klay's injury, i KNEW they would return because of their Culture and Character and Steph's Christ. Is God in basketball? Yes, when Steph believes and understands his purpose AND they (GSW organization) each endured and supported each other on and off the court: NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE. Thank you for demonstrating the impossible! Go Warriors, Go Steph, Go Klay, Go Dray, Go Iggy, Go Steve...Go...to everyone GO and show others how to create a CULTURE. Champions endure and Warriors win! By the way the NBA Hall of Fame qualification "a Hall of Fame player must have, at one time, been an elite player at his position. He had to have been someone teams feared." Is Steph ready for the Hall of Fame? YESSSS he is!.

I have been a basketball fanatic for more than 50 years and I have NEVER enjoyed the game as much as I do now. Steph Curry has totally reconfigured how basketball is played, making it so much faster, more reactive, more emotional and less dependent on size and position. In this new free-flow game, the frequency of 3's and the increasing entry into the league of players able to make 3's on a high percentage basis, open the paint to exciting drives, blocks and dunks like never before. The ability to defend has been diminished and to adapt to set plays has become irrelevant. The flow of the game, the creativity of the great players, the genius of certain coaches and organizations and the parity between teams make for a competitive game that is every bit as fast as ice hockey and far more creative and spontaneous. Watch a Celtics video with Cousy and Sharman and Russell, and another with BIrd and McHale and KJ, and then compare that to the total excitement the Warriors provide every time they touch the ball and you will see the difference. It's a new game, folks, and guys like Curry and Thompson and Durant and Docik and Giannis have just re-invented it from the ground up.

The thing Scottie said about clay and curry if they were on separate teams is what I’ve said. Like Lebron wants to play with curry but he he could get clay on his team with the lakers that would be their knock down shooter. Clay would become a even better shooter on another team with a superstar like Lebron that would force the double and get clay open for catch and shoot shots. Clay is prolly the best catch and shooter in the league today.

@@theinktician Olay holds the 3 point record for most 3 pointers in a single game he also holds record for most Consecutive 3 pointers without missing in a game. Aswell as the most points scored in one quarter not half 1 quarter… at 37 points.. the team they faced were all over him body contact on many of his shots hand in his face few times 2-3 people. He just had one of those amazing nights where he was allowed to explode. People forget it’s a hand check league now which is why they say jordan would average 50 points. Defense isn’t the same anymore. Fouls get called way more then they use to. Shooters play off screens him and curry only need a inch of space or a half second to get off the shot and it goes in at a high percentage.
