In The basketball world one player has been seen as Overrated. He is an #nba Legend and he has played in multiple nba seasons averaging over 20 points. He played for teams like the Denver Nuggets, the #newyorkknicks , the Okc Thunder, the Houston Rockets, and the Los Angeles Lakers. If you don’t understand what nba player I’m talking about his name is #carmeloanthony and he has the best nba highlights today. Was Carmelo Anthony very selfish or is this going to be something on how the New York Knicks wasted Carmelo Anthony’s prime. Speaking of Prime these nba players like Kobe Bryant, Paul George, Paul Pierce, and Draymond Green described how it was like guarding prime Carmelo Anthony, and this is the New York Knicks editions and it all started with the New York Knicks rumors and The New York Knicks news when he was first traded over there. In my opinion that was the best version of Carmelo Anthony he was a great basketball player and he has the best basketball highlights while playing for New York. He has some of the best hooper highlights. It’s so amazing watching this basketball player play. In New York we had some Carmelo Anthony highlights and we had an amazing moment of 7pm in Brooklyn. These nba players who now run their own podcasts were telling us some amazing nba stories on Carmelo and how hard it was to guard prime. We think these nba legends and players for telling us these experiences. The things they have said went totally viral and it broke the nba news. Is Prime Carmelo Anthony a hall of famer? My nba predictions today is that yes Carmelo Anthony will go in the hall of fame. His offensive skills carry his lack of defense but he has had an amazing career and we still speak of him as one of the greatest if not the greatest offensive players in nba today. In the 7pm In Brooklyn Podcast Carmelo Anthony is on their a lot and he gives us a lot of gems about the basketball game. He mentions the Knicks trade rumors, the new York Knicks trade rumors. He is amazing on his nba podcast and we love talking about his nba stories and nba best moments. Is Carmelo Anthony overrated or not? In the nba season we still talk about this legendary player. Make sure to like and subscribe and I’m out.

First of all, I also believe melo is a better pure scorer than kd. Melo was a problem and a lot of people over look it or don’t give him his due because he didn’t win anything. There is another quote from Kobe where he says melo is the strongest player he ever played against. There was also a stat floating around back when melo was playing that his clutch shooting percentage(shots he made to win or take the lead in a game) was higher than Kobe, Lebron and MJ. I don’t know if that still holds up as the last several years of his career weren’t really peak or prime melo but never the less he was a monster offensively. Melo also said in an interview that one offseason he went and worked out at MJ’s house and MJ showed him a bunch of one on one moves specifically out of the triple threat stance and also with his back to the basket and melo said after learning those he felt like he was unstoppable and could literally score on anyone at any time, and he absolutely could. Lastly, when PG was talking and you said “some guy named Danny” like wtf bro?! Do you even know basketball?! Danny Granger was a problem too! He was an elite offensive player in his prime and he was very decent on Defense. He just wasn’t very fast. But he gave out work just like melo did, just not quite at that level but still a beast. Danny Granger very underrated along with Rudy Gay and Melo.

Well there was the Melo that cared if his team won, and he was top 10 all time maybe. Then there was the other Melo who shot as soon as he touched the ball regardless of where he was, who was guarding him, what the score was, or really anything. Then he would maybe stay in that same spot or maybe run down to the other side of the court eventually.

He a better scorer than KD but KD a better shooter and can get his shot off anywhere. Melo was a straight bully on the court though, he was getting 30 pts by force.

Melo has all the tools to be great, enough to be the Goat if he wanted to. Unfortunately, in the big prime time games, in the head to head match ups against the other greats in the league, he rarely outplayed them. I can remember the games against the heatles and the Knicks needing his scoring and he does a 21 pt game, with four rebounds and 1 assist, and bad fg%. He would have one good game against a great like in every six games....but he was mostly underwhelming. And if he can't score, he isn't going to give you anything else...no assists, no defense and occasionally rebound🤦. I love his bag, he had so many ways to score, arguably top three in that category all-time, but he didn't have the heart/will/determination in big games or big matchups to make up for his lack of contribution in other areas. That's why he was not a winner.

@realamerican8069 It's an established fact that Melo wasn't a winner. What did he win? It's an established fact that he as a scorer and nothing else. What else was he great at? Even as a scorer, statistically, he can't possibly be ranked top 5. You'd have to take stats out of the equation and go purely off of who has the deepest bag. By any objective standards however, Steph Curry is a better scorer. Because he scores more and does it more efficiently. How much can you score, how consistent is your scoring, can you score big in big games, and how efficient can you be while scoring? That is the correct measure of a scorer. The question that the players were answering was essentially, who is toughest to stop from scoring. They said Melo because he was a versatile scorer. But most other top scorers are more versatile all around ball players while being able to score as much as or more than Melo even without scoring in as many ways as Melo.

@@realamerican8069 That was just a hypothetical example, if I looked it up,I'm sure he had a dozen of those. My point was, in the big games, vs a LeBron or a Durant, he just never performed like he should...and what I mean by that is,elevate his game to Lebrons/Durant's level or higher....not to pad stats, but because we needed every point. He didn't have that unfortunately, was clutch sparingly and never gave the overall "effort" win in those type games. Disappointing point blank.

No major injuries and longevity with high scoring numbers. Melo missed a whole season to injury, was a free agent for another and had to retire atleast 3 yrs too early. Melo would’ve easily reached 35 k.

Melo was a different player than most, as a Fan I don't think he knew how different of a player he was. Dude could have been much more special than he thought.
