John Wall really got me crying. What a phenomenal person with a heart of a lion. You know, I always perceived him to be this really cocky, egocentric guy. At least that's how I felt he was when he was in college and in his earlier career in the NBA. But he's such an emotional guy who cares for others. We need more people like him!

rhcp5351 He was though, he was a cocky little shit in college when he was 18/19. But he got into the NBA and grew up and that's ok. Most of us were the same way whether we like to think it or not. Then you get into the real world and you have life experiences and it changes your outlook. In Wall's case he befriended a little girl who died to cancer. Idc how cocky you might be, going through something like that is going to forever change your life

To people saying John Wall is a cocky player and all... I'll tell you right here. I've been a Wizards fan since I was 6 (Gilbert arenas era) and Gilbert was my favorite player ever... Wall came in and it was time for Gil to leave along with everyone else. His first game in DC, he did the dougie and still to this day gets criticized by Colin Cowherd, etc. yeah it seemed cocky, but he was 19.. Now this guy has come A LONG WAY. He played with probably the worst group of players I've ever seen (Javalee McGee, Andray Blatche, Nick Young, Fabricio Oberto, Mo Evens, Yi Jianlian, Al Thornton, Mustafa Shakur) and still kept his head high. He got his contract which in my eyes he deserved, cried during it (as you see in the video). He improved his game by appearing in 2 all stars (1 start), 2nd team all defense, averaged a double double (17.6 and 10) and STILL gets criticized or no credit... He didn't get an All-NBA team but a point guard who averaged 21 and 5 (Kyrie Irving) gets the nod. For what reason? 2 50 point games? What about the games where he had 12 points and no assists? What about when the best player in the world, LeBron missed 9 games? He went 1-8. Wall deserved it. But lemme tell you this... WALL IS NOT COCKY. Not at all. He improved his game and stays quiet and is only loud during games. When Maya died, he wrote her name on every single pair of shoes he wore (same with his dad). I'm really proud of this guy. He's 24 years old and only going up. He took us to two straight 2nd round appearances and I think if he hadn't gotten hurt, we would've beaten the Hawks but it is what it is. I'm glad to call this guy my point guard and I'm glad about how he uses criticism as motivation. 24 and averaging 17.6, 4.6, 10, 2, and 1 block a game for a point guard is CRAZY... He's a great guy and I wouldn't want anyone else to lead this team

Kevin Garnett's moment really touched me. He was so happy to win that ring. Lebron really thought it was easy. MJ is truly the goat for what he did. Kobe willed himself to 2 rings in 08/09. That's Goat shit. Lebron really didn't understand how hard it is and he's sitting with a 2-4 finals record. Only winning 2 of the last 5 finals, as great as making the finals is. But he didn't win them, because it's not fucking easy. I hope he gets his clutch gene in order because he will not have an above 500 record in the finals if he doesn't. That's just facts

He doesn't understand how hard it is? LeBron James from Akron Ohio a boy with no father a mom on welfare and food stamps, a boy who had to work where he is at in life but he don't understand how hard is huh? Then you brought up rings just another excuse to hate the best player. Let me tell you a story about a man named Allen iverson. A.I never won a ring he came so close but lost which would make him 0-1 throughout his whole career. Now read this and understand it well. If a ring defines greatness might as well say Mario Chalmers is better than Steve Nash or draymond green is better than Patrick ewing.

Kevin Durant is 2nd in that category........ NO ONE Deserves a ring more than Chris Paul and I mean NO ONE
@LenoFN8 жыл бұрын
+Justin Daubon No, Chris Paul deserves it because hes a great player, but Kevin deserves it becauses hes humble,' kind, and works hard everyday.

Alright I changed my mind. I thought that he would stay with OKC, but instead he bandwagonned with Golden State, so Chris Paul is my new candidate for most deserving to get a ring.

KD: "Mom, you the real MVP" Man my emotions clocked at that line. KD states the troubles that his mom had while raising him and his bro. And idk what kind of feeling KD's mom has had when she saw her son making that speech specifically about her! Emotional AF

The Wall, Kobe, KD, and Rose ones were very heartwarming and sentimental, but the KG one will always keep me in joyous tears only because it's the one time the Celtics (my local team), have won a championship in my lifetime. When KG said that it rang in my head for the rest of my life. Not to say the others aren't sad. The KD and Wall ones were very sentimental too.

Good job on this clip. New respect to John Wall for his big heart. Awesome MVP speech by KD. My Uncle lived a really sad life and he died suddenly at 70. He worked at the Minneapolis airport parking cars. K.G. always gave him $100 tips, called him by name and was very personable with him. Good guy! (KG always joked with my Uncle b/c his first name was "Garnet," one less T. He nicknamed him "Less T.")
