Tim Duncan won this one on one matchup in scoring and rebounding. You know, I still hate that fans were saying Tim Duncan’s lockout ring did not count as a real ring.

@@PIP...33 luxory that Malone or Garnett never had guy who can score create own shoots by putting ball on floor, mid range stretch paint, or drive or athletic finish. KG and Mailman had loaded paint cause ostertag or Garrett average 4 ppg as their centers.

@@PIP...33 Donaghy also said that he was youngster when other older refs rigged Jordan rings. He was main referee since 2000 but controversial was Pacers vs Bulls likewise 2 finals that Jazz should won but as an small Utah market they literally kept Bulls in game with little soft call here and there and even 2 deserved ejections that they did not called for Rodman.

This is the last series that ended Shaquile dominance in NBA. He later won his 4th championship in 2006 in Miami but D.Wade was the main guy and the MVP on that championship.

The Spurs, more or less, knew the same situation the Kings had the previous year. Closeout game is the most difficult, and even more should the refs are indeed conniving to save a preferred team. The Spurs need to beat the Lakers in convincing fashion. A close game would give refs opportunity to weave their "magic." Unfortunately, 0.4 happened the next year. I thought if the game is not against the Lakers, the timekeeper will simply burn the remaining split second and turned that Tim's shot over Shaq as the biggest clutch shot in Spurs history (Sean Elliott in 1999 as second).

Always great seeing the SA Spics aka Sperms getting their asses whooped even worse the previous 2 years including 2001 beating the Spurs 39 and 29 points back to back games 3 and 4 2001 WCF and Duncan choking by air balling the game tying shot game 4 2002 WCSF. 😂🤣😎

@@shortyg1018 Special thanks to Phil Jackson to make it happen. And it should be 4-3, in favor to Kobe. Kobe is still with the Lakers in 2013, and injury is not an excuse. Second, I bet many players would choose to play with Tim than Kobe. And if it’s a form of voting, Timmy would be an unanimous choice, like almost a Playoff series sweep. ;)
