Paul George sank a three-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to lift the Thunder to a 112-111 victory over the Rockets tonight in Oklahoma City. Russell Westbrook registered his 33rd triple-double of the season (137th of his career) with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Thunder, while George added 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals in the victory. James Harden recorded 39 points (11-27 FG, 5-14 3pt FG) and 10 rebounds for the Rockets in the losing effort. Harden finished the regular season averaging 36.1 PPG, 6.6 RPG and 7.6 APG to become the first player in NBA history to average 35+ PPG and 7+ APG. Harden also joins Michael Jordan (1988-89) as the only players to have averaged at least 30.0 PPG, 7.0 APG, 6.0 RPG and 2.0 SPG in a single season. Additionally, Harden finished the regular season with the 10th most points scored in a single season in NBA history (2,818 total points).

OKC stinks. Westbrook is an out of control entitled ballhog with terrible judgement. Capella blocks his shot , then he tries to tackle Capella from behind because he's angry. When does the NBA do a psychological evaluation of this guy's mental health. Westbrook mentality to keep playing until the clock runs out is what separates him from every other athlete in the league. Down 4, westbrook ran down made a very difficult 3 with 20 seconds left, fouled harden, westbrook got a lay up, fouled harden again which lead to a missed FT, westbrook got it, passed to Adam's, Adam's back to westbrook, westbrook to PG in the corner for a tough 3 with with 1.8 sec. this man is a threat when he is on one!

This game is more important than people think. If they would have won this and didn’t choke, they would be the 3 seed instead of 4 and face the Warriors in the WCF instead of the SF. If Durant gets injured again in the second round, the Rockets could have beaten them and made it to the Finals where they will face the Raptors. They could have won a ring

I watched this game live and i will never forget how the Rockets choked the 3rd seed with this loss and had to face the warriors in the 2nd Round smh. If they wouldve won this game alone they wouldve faced the warriors without KD the entire WCF and most likely could’ve pulled it out.

You're right only the refs helped OKC. Houston controlled the score the entire game. OKC , every time they're losing in the 4th quarter , ups aggression and intensity , bodies begin to somehow end up all over the floor, and the refs get intimidated and swallow the whistle. No structure in offense , just shoot the brick and send 4 guys crashing the rim .
