This wasn’t a nationally televised game and I’m an okc fan who doesn’t live in okc so I was keeping up with espn’s play by play and I remember seeing he got the record and was happy even though we were down. I checked a few minutes later and saw a close game and waited until the last possession when Westbrook made the buzzer shot. I’ve never celebrated a shot I couldn’t see more than I did that day. I remember this game. I was so sad when Westbrook left OKC. He has had such a good career here in OKC and this will always be his home.

In that game russ. Clinched the thunder for the playoffs mathematically. Also knocked out the nuggets. Also made history with those 42 triple doubles. Also did it in a 50 point fashion way. ALSO hit that crazy 40 feet buzzer beater game winner. Also earned the mvp award over harden. What a heart. What a season. By the way, what shoes is he wearin cause i love them?

Damn one of my favorite players, Westbrook, hits a game winner on my favorite team's player, the nuggets guard Jamal Murray. He also drops a record 50 point triple double and a record breaking 42 triple doubles in a season. This is the most bittersweet game that I have ever watched.
