The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics, 119-114. Jaime Jaquez Jr. finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Heat, while Josh Christopher added 20 points and 3 steals in the victory. Jaden Springer tallied 23 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals for the Celtics. The Heat improve to 1-0 in the NBA 2K25 Summer League, while the Celtics fall to 0-1.

Davison played good most of the game but he also is a big part of why they lost. He fell apart in the last quarter. Kept driving in and getting shutdown without even looking for the pass.

Scheierman and Watson will a good addition to the team . Walsh needs more game . Springer needs to tighten up his handles . Queta needs more experience which will make his reaction to defense faster (bball IQ ) . I don’t see anything in Davidson and Peterson .

Walsh should be assigned to Maine full time. I agree re Davidson. He is not an NBA player plus he is tiny. Not sure why the C's extended him, I thought we have moved away from undersized playmakers. Springer is far more athletic, with good D and a nice stroke.

@@user-se1gs2ei7o PP is undersized & shown that there is room for a undersized backup. He will most likely be dealt at some point down the line to get under the 2nd apron, so JD or Springer or someone will need to fill that spot.
