2k14 had the best cutscenes but 16 had better gameplay. 14 had the rookie showcase game, 1v1 in the summer against Jackson Ellis trash talking ass which made the first two seasons fun and competitive, because who didn’t love shutting him up. That’s back when 2k cutscenes made sense and weren’t strictly for marketing purposes. 18 has the worst cutscenes and storylines by far.

I respect your opinion but I felt that 2k16's story was overly dramatic and took away from the gameplay. You only got to play 8 games during your rookie season, it felt like I was watching an interactive movie rather than playing a game. I would have enjoyed the story more if I was allowed to make choices (like whether or not I wanted to keep playing in college or go to the draft) but instead the cutscenes presented your character with choices that were already decided. RIP Bosskeyyachts
