I would hate for dad to publicly say that he was disappointed in any decision I made. Making a career decision should grant support from the inside even if loved ones thought differently. I can’t imagine my dad saying anything to the public that goes against what I’ve done career wise. He can talk to me in private and we’ll leave it that way.

It crazy to think that the only "notable" name the Lakers added to their roster is a 2/54 pick who averaged 4 points in college. Klay saw that and decided not to join a circus. Instead, he made the right decision and joined a championship contending team.

Crazy thing is I hope they run it back. Lakers and Lakers fans want to win so bad that they cange the team all the tim. they never have continuity. The best season thy had was the bubble year and the year after that they were 17-3 until Lebron got injured. Let them play, they had a great second half of the season continue the rhythm and who knows what can happen. big 3s aren't winning anymore I think chemistry is key

The logic is simple: the Warriors, in ANY deal with the Lakers, do NOT want DLo at all. Sadly, it was the only player LA was willing to give up; the true target, Austin Reaves, was never going to be let go. So the Warriors simply decided that, if who they really wanted was not available, then get a couple of draft picks so they can say they got something for Klay. The Los Angeles Lakers are an absolute dumpster fire; these are not the Lakers we knew and grew up with. And it all started with the departure of Jerry West.

When things go wrong, it’s always somebody else’s fault other than Lebron’s, right? Just because they didn’t land Klay, doesn’t mean Lebron couldn’t still take a pay cut, which seems to be the only reason he was going to. That window of winning a championship is getting smaller for Lebron, and even with all the right pieces around him in the last 2 seasons, he still couldn’t get it done.

What’s disappointing!! First of all, you got one team that was in the finals, a proven legitimate coach in Jason kid, on the other hand a team with no identity, a new coach, with no experience whatsoever, and a team that got burn badly twice by the same team…. It’s an easy , and obvious choice…. But now on the other hand, I’m not so sure that Dallas made and upgrade with klay, first he’s not the same player he was before, we shall see .
