Talk about a person who became humble with age. When playing, Barkley wasnt very likable. Now, the dude could run for president and actually get some votes. Definitely a national treasure!

I know this comment is meant to be lighthearted but for real up until TNT started doing hockey nhl was getting zero promotion/fan engagement of players and was a joke and made the sport and players look boring. I'm not saying this is going to get them anywhere near the level the nba is but when you are starting at zero anything is positive and biz has been a great promoter of the sport.

Anyone who isn't a Leafs fan hates the Leafs, but thats kinda similar to the Yankees. What he meant by his comment is that there are Leafs fans all across Canada and the world. He didn't literally mean all 40 million Canadians like the Leafs. His comparison to the Cowboys and Yankees are very accurate.

Leafs and Habs are the two most hated Canadian team for sure. Montréal Canadiens wasn’t Canada’s team only because they were Francophones. Couldn’t play on the team if you weren’t French. Team that everyone hated because they hated everyone else. Separatism is only recently calm down.
