I'm disabled. I've needed people to take care of me for almost 27 years. Ernie and Cheryl you are excellent no doubt. I still feel worthless and like a burden a lot of my life, but my mom wanted me to fight and I did and I have done so much. I know I don't have a lot left but I hope my value was seen and felt. I hope that I supplied empathy and passion and I hope it's remembered.

I’ve seen him tell this story before, but it hit me more today than ever. I have been struggling for a while with my mental health, and seeing how Michael was able to enjoy every aspect of life gives me hope. Thank you Ernie and Cheryl for adopting him and giving him all the love in the world. I hope you both take all the time you need to grieve, and are able to take in the love the world has for you and Michael. Michael, I hope you’re up in heaven driving every kind of car imaginable. EJ starting calling braves games in late 80's. This man's integrity, values, honesty, is remarkable. You have never and will never for no reason hear ernie put down a athlete no matter what that athlete may have said or done. Ernie has fight and beat 2 different types of cancer (non-hodgkin lymphoma, prostate) and beat them both. He has adopted 4 children from other countries. God did make many men like ernie johnson. May God bless and comfort ernie and family during this difficult time of the passing of there son Michael.
