111F heatwave in San Jose CA and PG&E power outages for several hours due to equipment failure. Many do not have AC. Old and sick are vulnerable. Stay safe everyone.

All candidates should be rigorous and mandatory in mental health checks etc before running! And periodically check them in these positions. Term an age limits!

It was touching to see the policeman weeping on camera while coping with the tragic loss of a fellow officer. All men have the capacity for deep feelings. However many men in our culture are no longer in touch with such emotions, instead playing out the common stiff-upper-lip approach to dealing with tenderness, despair, pain and sadness. Such feelings can be suppressed to the point that they are forever dissociated. Some women follow a similar path, as well, although not as often or to the same extent.

It's a double edged sword, in terms of how HOT it can be outside. Because the more people run their air-conditioning, (which I CANT live without) exasterbates the HEAT in conjunction with THE WITH the CO,2 already STORED in the atmosphere.
